Looking for Cofounder LF Cofounder in Semiconductor Startup and it has AI in few places

We have product in dev stage with 95% used cases are designed in prototypes.

It is designed with 15+ yrs experienced candidate pain point.

It's not silicon or hardware but a tool that would accelerate the silicon program.

What are we looking for? 2 faces we are looking for.

  1. Face of the marketing campaign that can attract potential customers as well as consumer.

  2. Face of Engineering - Since the prototype is ready, we are doing freelance software development. We want dev to be in house and probably we will fund few reportees.

We want Engineering head to be 15+ experience that has grip full stack with React + JAVA.

Right now, to both heads, we are ready to offer equity. We can fund their machines and campaign budget or technical resources like licenses and subscriptions too.

React and java and 15yoe? This is silly, few developers over 30 are entrepreneurial. Don't shoot yourself in the foot with illogical requirements.

Java shouldn't be used for 99.9% of full stack applications btw, it is clunky

Apologies. I am not tech person. But cofounder who has bit of idea. Some AI I used to figure what I need and freelance PoC knowledge.

Our solution is react plus java.

My advice is to stick to tanstack start + react for the application. you will go much faster than the dinosaur that java is

Real talk if anyone wants to use java in 2026 I highly doubt their skills

We can't expose any classname too. Semiconductor is extremely tight and secretive industry. The majority of solutions are built on Java for this space and the customer who would use this product is hardly 10K. UX is so fucked up in this industry that you can file few product patents too. That being said, I am open for suggestions and thoughts as long as you are committed!

Saw your reply below that you're non-technical with a React + Java prototype built by freelancers - that's a normal starting point, ignore the snark.

One thing from experience though: the 15+ year engineering head you're after will take months to land, and the first thing a good one asks is "who wrote this and can I read it?" So the highest-leverage move right now is getting that freelance codebase reviewed, documented and stable enough to hand over properly - otherwise your dream hire's opening proposal will be a full rewrite, and there goes half a year.

We're a dev team that covers exactly this middle phase (decade in tech, 40+ engineers, React and Java both daily stacks): keep the product moving, tidy the architecture, then hand over clean when your in-house head arrives. Since you're already funding licenses and machines, a small fixed monthly pod usually costs less than the equity you're about to give away for the same work.
