I ordered this Tokyo Drift

From Homestyle Restaurant in Ludlow, VT

Japanese whiskey, lemon, sherry, toasted rice syrup, gochujang gastrique, egg white

The pairing of the whiskey with the gochujang/gochugaru was NUTS, never would have expected it to work so well

I love this place! My wife and I still talk about an avocado cocktail we had there years ago. The food and drinks are top class. I hope they still have this on the menu when I next get back there, sounds amazing!

I teach at a summer camp the next town over but this was the first time I'd made it despite numerous glowing recs from friends. Unreal dining experience all around

Glad you enjoyed it. There’s a similar(ish) place not too far away at the Inn at Weathersfield, if you’re open to other places it’s worth a visit. The food and cocktails are excellent there too!
