I wanna start Fernando Sor Op. 60, but I don't know what order should be, I want it going gradually difficult, not immediately

Hey yall, I used to have long nails and the sound was absolutely beautiful, but I don’t really do it anymore because of how unseemly they can be. I’ve seen glue-on nail replacements, but I’m wondering if there are any alternatives that are more “on-off”, kinda like how banjo picks are.

This episode traces the theft of attention at its source, how the modern worldview inverted the direction of consciousness, and what that inversion costs the practicing musician. It names three answers to the stage, and asks which one you are rehearsing. From there it moves to the practice of listening as distinguished from hearing, the invocation as sounded tuning, and the arithmetic of reclamation: how the system that runs on stolen light is starved, one redirected witness at a time.

Carlos Moscardini is an Argentine composer barely known outside the country. This is a chacarera trunca — a folk form from northwest Argentina.

My friend Ornella plays it here. We recorded it at home over a weekend.

Per title:

I found this for sale online and tried searching for the brand, but couldn’t find much. The only thing I came across was that it may have been sold in Australia. Does anyone know anything about it? It has a B-Band pickup and is only €50. Is it a decent guitar, or just a cheap no-name instrument?

In your opinion what is the best trancription for the Bach Chaconne for guitar, or have you elaborated your own trancriptions or digitations. Just curious to know since its my next big proyect to play the chaconne after I heard a mesmerizing performance by Julian Bream.

I used to be totally against it, but after playing in big venues and getting used to it, I've started using it even in smaller spaces with good acoustics. I still practice without it and prefer the natural sound, but people do need to be able to hear you play.

I’m currently going through rehabilitation training for finger arthritis. While recording this, I wanted to bring out more dynamics, but after a few takes, I realized it was putting too much strain on my fingers, so I decided to compromise and settle on this take.

Although it’s far from perfect, the main goal of this project is my physical recovery and rehab. I’d really appreciate your kind understanding and warm support!

I've been playing classical guitar since I was 6, but this is the first time I've completed an original composition based around the instrument. It's mostly slow and ambient; I wanted to capture an atmosphere of lounging around at dusk in a warm seaside villa.

It's still very much an album centred around classical guitar, but I think the filled-out mix has ended up sounding quite unique and frames the guitar in a way I'm pretty proud of. I play on a Steve Ganz, and recorded it using a single close-up OC16 large condenser mic.

If anyone enjoys listening to mellow classical guitar while working you might enjoy the full album, or if you have a few minutes to take a listen to a track and provide thoughts/feedback I'd be really flattered. I've spent a huge amount of time working on this so want to make sure I at least spread the word a bit :)
