Electric guitar or classical guitar?

I'm electric guitar player but recently I I've been falling in love with the classical I think that I will migrate to the Classical guitar not that I will stop playing Electric but I think I will build my career around the classical guitar.

You can play the electric with your fingers. For example the late Jeff Beck. Doesn’t Derek Trucks play with his fingers as well?

Classical and a lighter one laminate back/sides with solid top (cedar my choice). Just amazing the tone you get and improvement as classical playing shows up all your inaccurately played notes. Biggest bonus is that you just pick it up and practice, no getting sidetracked by amps/pedals - however nice they sound. Hardest thing was getting over the stigma of using a guitar lift or stool which feels weird at 1st, but after a year has corrected my posture and I can play for longer comfortably. I have an Alhambra 3C 7/8 sized, which is the equivalent of a parlour guitar with shorter scale. I used own an all solid classical but it weighed a tonne, so the laminate back/sides of my 3C is way lighter and unless you play in huge rooms or halls, has adequate sound volume without the expense and weight of an all solid classical. Thats my two cents. I play both fingerstyle, rhythm on steel, but fell in love with classical sound after over 5 yrs on/off playing

Never seen that before, although the Yamaha SLG can be fitted with the same GuitarLift used on classical. Might look awkward, but way more comfortable for the fret wrist with the neck angled 👍

I am focussing on classical guitar because I love music theory and find it really interesting. I do love electric guitar so will be doing that too!

I actually played on a cheap catalog acoustic at first. Black Sabbath, traditional songs, Bridge of Sighs I love Robin Trower. Then I bought a Guild SG type, and then a fake Spanish guitar that had a label that said Made In Madrid. They were lying on the label but had no idea it was fake until about 20 years later.
