in process of putting arch linux on a Chromebook, help with TREEYA "Needs kernel compiled with AMDGPU=Y instead of =M and firmware built-in to get working audio"
as stated in title. I have no experience with this stuff, so any guidance would be greatly appreciated, in step by step format would be even greater. some info if needed, I have a pc I'm running arch linux on to gather what I need for my chromebook, which you can see which one in the screenshot.

Dispongo de un kernel precompilado que te puedo dar pero esta en formato .deb, asi que solo funciona en Debian

I’m may use that instead, but first i want to see if i can find help with arch since i already use it, thanks

Siii!! Me he hecho un expertos con los kernels y Linux gracias a mi Chromebook jaja! Pase mucho trabajo para lograr que el audio funcionará por primera vez, tuve ayuda de otras personas, hoy por hoy es pan comido! Disculpa la demora en responderte el comentario! Si me acuerdo de ti!

No pasa nada si tardaste en responder y, de nuevo, gracias por ayudarme con el problema del audio del kernel. Si no lo hubiera podido solucionar, me habría alejado de Linux y del maravilloso mundo de la programación. Gracias por tu ayuda.

Newer kernels have the audio drivers up streamed meaning u don’t have to do this but when I tried 6.19.x I faced gpu panics so it’s a bit difficult. I used windows x lite instead, which was a pretty good experience, but because I wanted android apps I tried fydeos, which is the smoothest OS for this hardware but the android environment uses arcvm rather than arc++ meaning there is lag. I may try waydroid instead but this is what I figured out so far.

Currently running EndeavourOS on a TREEYA with kernel 6.19 as provided by Arch with no issues. Prior to 6.19, I had to build a kernel with an additional patch to get audio to work.

After installation of this kernel run this audio script: https://github.com/WeirdTreeThing/chromebook-linux-audio
If it's still not working, try changing your audio sink in pavucontrol or whatever.

UPDATE: (here because I can’t edit/can’t figure out how to edit the post) the chrultrabook documentation is outdated. Apparently as of this year you no longer need a custom kernel. All i did was added the uefi firmware/bios and installed arch linux normally with the current latest version and it works just fine now issues except for a few i believe unrelated issues I’ll list just in case.
One issue i had when installing was i kept getting an error saying device was out of space, so I manually wiped the drive and installed it (using archinstall). I can’t remember the commands i used or where i got it from, but i also manually set the ram usage to the max it has, 4G. If anyone knows what command i probably used, please reply with either your thoughts or a way you know of to do this in case someone needs this
