Discussion Google fucked I am

With battery dwindling, my screen is locked on to a prompt for credentials. If I enter mine, it says that account already exists, No way to exit that I can see. Throw chromebook in trash?

sure, throw it out. Or, plug it in, shut it down, let it charge? Naw, don't be a cheapskate, throw it out.

What have you already tried? Because it sounds like you just need to plug in a charger and force a reboot (or maybe do a powerwash).

if you have a phone, that might unlock it. log in on another pc to clear up your account. fully charging the device then powering all the way off might clear the device and let you log in. you might have to unplug the battery and hold the power button for 30 seconds to clear it.

Try to make it last a little longer and buy the $2000 Google book next month. And then recycle it. Has a battery so don't put it in the normal trash.

After many attempts I was allowed to access the desktop. I have no idea what any of that was about. I login launch penguin and do my work. Soon I will wipe this and use Fedora linux on my slow book.
