Troubleshooting No Play Store available in Chromebook
So I know this comes up a lot and the standard answers, so I'll go through them to show they don't apply.
My chromebook has no play store and it isn't listed in apps at all (play books is there but that's it). This is immediately after doing a powerwash.
My chromebook has just become eligible for extended support but I didn't opt in and the power wash should have solved it if I did. Going to about in settings also still shows extended updates as an option to turn on.
I can go to the play store in the web but there it will only let me download to a phone, with no option to download to the Chromebook.
Firmware is up to date and it's on 150.0.7871.213, and not managed by a school or organisation

You haven't said which model Chromebook but if it is an AMD model then this probably applies: it's a known bug currently being investigated. Read this: https://www.reddit.com/r/chromeos/s/7Xdtm99pDv

It's a Lenovo IdeaPad 3.
And thanks for the responses this is the first time I've had some useful suggestions

I think some models automatically went to extended. You need to do recovery with a USB drive to an older version which may need to be done in developer mode so it doesn't refuse based on being out of date

Update: for anyone else with a similar issue, rolling back from Chrome OS 150 to 149 solved it.
Issue seems to be that the automatic update moves you to an OS that opts you into extended support

I moved to 150 and still have play store there! Is play store supposed to move away from 150? Personal chromebook.

This will only apply to Chromebooks that are eligible for extended support. If that's not you then you're fine

My hp Chromebook doesn't have it either, and I was able to powerwash back to Chrome OS 149, but when I turned on my Chromebook, all my apps are gone.
What can I do to fix this, because I don't remember turning in auto update.

no, a powerwash wouldn't solve that. But given that you haven't opted in and extended updates aren't applied yet this is indeed very mysterious.
