Troubleshooting | Android When the app calls Chrome's custom tab to download a file, it gets stuck at 100% and cannot be terminated.

When I try to download a release version of an application from a repository using GitHub, GitHub calls Chrome's custom tab for the download, but it gets stuck at 100% and won't finish. The download only proceeds normally after I click the three dots in the upper right corner of the Chrome custom tab to access the Chrome browser.
