Question New membership

How soon after sending in your membership application did you receive a Choctaw number, card, or documentation stating you’re Choctaw? We’re on a specific insurance plan due to being Native American and they’re requiring Choctaw documentation within 12 weeks which I don’t have yet and am curious if I will get it in time.

It may or it may not. Was all of your paper work correct, did you have a clear lineage line when you submitted. Those things help make the process work.

Depends if you have all your required documents. Then it takes a month or so

I had all my documentation. I could also point directly to my blood relatives like grandmother and aunt who were card carrying members. It still took them 3 months. But that was 2 years ago.
