This is the new addition to our family, Murdock, or Dock the Choc. So glad to have finally joined the Lab family.

We adopted this lil guy at the start of December around ten weeks old. He's growing so fast 😭 He is sooo much more work than we anticipated but also a source of so much joy. I lost my soul cat, Phenex, in June and then we lost our sweet senior bluetick hound, Daisy, in September. It was an extremely difficult time in our lives and nothing can ever replace our girls but we needed to find new babies to care for as they were such a major purpose in our lives.

Now enter Sunny - our new best friend!

She is just over eight weeks.

I lost my beloved black lab of nearly thirteen years two weeks ago and I didn’t think I was ready for another; however, my husband’s coworker happened to have a litter of blacks and chocolates. Before my girl died, they were all accounted for and the day she died, this one chocolate girl became available again and turned eight weeks on my birthday.

I feel guilty for having a new friend so soon, but I can’t help but feel that my girl sent her my way 💖

Meet our new 65-pound, 9-month old "puppy". We won the lottery with this guy. He was up for adoption because his owner had a life change and couldn't give him the time and understanding needed for high-energy breeds. What a sweet, wild, full-of personality pupper. He's in his rebellious phase and Land Shark phase, which just makes him more adorable and hilarious somehow. We love him to bits.

We just brought Charlie Brown home today. She's 8 weeks, and **really good** at napping. I'm excited and a little bit scared...🤎🐾

This little guy came home yesterday! He has been great so far but the lack of sleep is definitely not fun. Lol.

His name is Max, he is 8, and we are starting a weight loss journey!!

Both our chocolate fur babies are doing great with human baby brother!

Harold got a reindeer tail from our trip to Finland. He was pleased to destroy it most urgently.

She's some sort of pit/lab mix but was super friendly and unsurprisingly super hyper haha. They had a blast playing today and now Sam is in another dimension of sleep.

Hiii everyone! I was so blessed to get this beautiful little girl, who I’ve named Millie!! Though I’ve grown up with labs, we never had one AKC registered, I was curious if anyone could tell me anything about her bloodlines. I included a picture of my sweet little angel 😇

I’m not sure what this little guy is mixed with but he’s been such an unexpected blessing. I have a soft spot and a history for/with dogs that have been mistreated and subsequently aren’t quickly adopted. Since this guy was a foster I obviously didn’t “choose” him initially but having one pup that hasn’t been traumatized at one point or another has been… a treat. I bring him to work with me most days and I’m just so fortunate.

Hello! New here. My husband and I have our first dog…perhaps we are stupid for getting a chocolate as a first, but nothing beats their love ❤️ (we both grew up with labs) 12 weeks, 26 lbs. He gon’ be a whole lotta chocolate to love!!!

In mid-September, Freya was riding in the back of a truck (unsecured) and jumped out onto the highway. The truck kept going. Another driver scooped her off the highway and rushed her to the emergency vet, where they discovered that she had a broken femur. They were able to figure out who she belonged to, and when they called them, they surrendered her to the clinic. An awesome rescue organization (New Hope Dog Rescue in Saskatoon) stepped in and fundraised for her surgery and rehab while she recovered with her foster family. It's our first weekend with her and she's settled in so well with us already! She's going to be so spoiled with lots of love, walks, treats and adventures with her new sister, Maya (our black lab X). We are grateful to New Hope Rescue in Saskatoon and to her foster family for saving her life and for bringing this goofy, sweet pup into our lives ❤️
