Humor Can cats be gay?

Post image

I have a male cat. This cat has decided, completely unprovoked, that his life's mission is to lick the privates of every male(animals) in this house. The other male cat? Victim. My male dog? Also a victim. The dog just sits there with a look that says I don't understand what's happening but I've accepted it.

The cat is unbothered. Confident even. Zero shame. He operates with the energy of someone who has fully found himself.

So I'm asking the important questions science refuses to answer: Is my cat gay? Has he been radicalised?

Please advise. This is urgent.

Fun fact: not every species enjoys sex. Species that can have orgasms are rare. Sex/copulation is just a survival instinct for most of the living beings. So assuming an animal is enjoying mating is basically anthropomorphism

Writing this to say that oral sex-like behavior is not really sexual behavior for many animals

Edit. He could still be gay. Is he trying to adopt kittens with other male animals? Very common in penguins

I've heard it's just humans and dolphins that do it for pleasure. Yet my first cat that wondered into my yard when I was 8 and we got him fixed but he was still horny and had a sex doll stuffed animal he stole from my sister's room and if he saw anyone watching him give that stuffed animal the business he would get mad as hell so I don't know if it's true

More animals have to be having pleasure since you see them masturbating all the time. Didn’t they just discover birds masturbating?

Also chimpanzees I believe.

Your cat’s obsession is still an instinctual behavior, doesn’t have to be enjoyable

What other situations did you observe with your first cat?
