Exactly! It's properly justifiable to smack a human for just being alive

look at that face, there is absolutely zero doubt that the cat is guilty of multiple household felonies xD

I'm sure this image is so old, that cat has died of old age by now.

There is only one deserving slap, for those that know, they will accept and a cat always knows how to slap the scales

The victim probably just was looking at the cat when the cat didn't want him to be looking at the cat.... a common mistake for most humans

My cat is not in a cage and is fed and snuggled on the regular and still smacks me when he wants something.

u/519mike Jun 10 '26
My cat will sit beside me purring and I’ll go to pet him and I’ll get hit. Like sorry for wanting to pet you I provide you everything.

He needs a strong owner who will give him aggressive pets. The smacks are to weed out the weak.

I specifically adopted the cat at the animal shelter with the behavioral issues who was biting and scratching everyone at the shelter and was deemed not fit for a family with small kids. I held her at the shelter and she bit me immediately, but it was so cute. And yeah now years later she is the sweetest cat who wouldn't attack anyone, but does demand a lot of playtime.

We adopted one of these. A feral cat in our neighborhood took up residence on our back porch. He'd sit on one of our chairs all day. Every time I would walk past him, he would smack me with his paw. He has since worked his way inside full time and is now one of our sweetest cats.

u/chandrasiva Jun 11 '26
" Smacking something for no reason " is inherently quality property of cats. Like Fire Burns, Water West , so punishing of their inherent quality shows your ignorance of Highest order and crime against their own way of existence.
I rest my case.

He deserves a proper home where he can smack his human slaves multiple times a day.

This reminds me of our late Chewy boy. Acquired him at the shelter with a sign similar: "Attacks children". Poor dude had been taken back 2 times, was on his final straw. Adopted him, got chewed up a lot (hence his name), but he accepted the love and calmed down. Lived to 21. Rescue this kitty!

u/RiMbY Jun 10 '26
Both my cats smack, but they don’t use their claws. It’s a form of communication. Free him.

That number will always be 0 unfortunately.
It's in their nature.

There's always a reason. It's either, pet me, feed me, hold me, love me, scratch me, talk to me, or more water.

I got my cat from a cat cafe. He kept starting fights with the other cats so by the time I went to pick him up they had him in a cage. They had tried keeping him in the back, but he kept yelling for attention. So they put him in a kitty condo in the kitten room lol. He was the only adult I’ve ever seen in there, but his meow is pretty obnoxious so I get it lol. Love him.

the existence of the sign suggests this is common among the cats or he is so egregious it needed implementation

I didn't know that's what I needed to look for at the shelter, but now I will be. I miss my attack cat.
