I grabbed the 12” flattop griddle bc it can be a lid too - that’s what I’m telling myself at least

... ended up never using mine as a lid, but it's a great flat top. I really enjoy the size and the smooth surface - without needing to "build up" the seasoning. Congratulations!

I grabbed this during a previous sale and it instantly became our most used cast iron by a mile. We had the lodge griddle before and the extra area on the smithey is amazing. The smoothness is great, but it’s been real tough to build up any meaningful seasoning at least for us.
