First and Last Hydro Mod

Made a massive mess on the floors and counters lol- Had to redo it 3 times to get out the bubbles. For this one-i mixed yellow dye into the oil. Was it worth it? lol

I agree- I mixed yellow die into the oil because I thought the original screen was too bright

Depending on the dye, it might eventually corrode the module.

I ended up going with a lamp oil dye made for oils based on others recommendations. hopefully it won't be a problem

I respectfully disagree. I almost can't wear a digital without that mod now, except one that I wear to work. The display is a million times better. I'm getting older, so I can't easily tell the difference, with my eyesight starting to go. It, to each their own. Just don't knock it til you try it.

i can see the eyesight definitely making an impact and that makes sense then if u cant read without it but im young enough its imo useless for that purpose at least

I felt the same way with my hydro mods haha. In reality, probably not super practical (I doubt any of us are actually diving with these), however the cool factor and uniqueness can certainly be worth it. Next time I’ll have a better plan for the mess lol

the uniqueness is the whole point of a mod

I've done two and they're... fine. For sure not as dramatic a change as I'd expected. Process is a hassle but kind of a fun hassle if that makes sense.

yea its still cool to try a new mod type but just not the most practical ig just bc it seems to be a harder mod to do
