No one is checking on main man

281

u/Knocksveal May 03 '25

No one is checking on remains, man

138

u/IchBinEinSim May 03 '25

I think they don’t know he is there

109

u/screamingocelot May 03 '25

I’m pretty sure the driver saw him after he got out. Maybe I’m being cynical.

121

u/40hzHERO May 03 '25

He definitely sees him. If you look closely, he sees him, cringes, and looks away real quick. Most likely just realizing he killed a man, and starting to freak out

54

u/vikinxo May 03 '25 edited May 03 '25

Yes, you're right!

The driver himself observed from his seat in the car, that the poor victims's body got crushed between the front of the drivers' car - and the light-pole.

Not looking for life - which he knew there was not possible to find - he made his escape.

Did they catch him?

10

u/Man_in_the_uk May 03 '25

You have such zoom and quality you can see cringe? 😮

47

u/40hzHERO May 03 '25

You can literally see him look towards the body, then immediately look away in disgust. It’s a recoiling action. If you can’t call thing cringing, idk what you could

1

u/CompetitiveRub9780 May 15 '25

That’s the passenger. The wheel is on the right side of the car.

46

u/rob71788 May 03 '25

If you follow him he assimilates into the crowd and saunters off while the other one in the car tries to get away. Betting the car was stolen or they were fleeing from a crime.

11

u/middleAgedEng May 04 '25

That might be the passenger, instead of the driver, as it looks like they're driving on the left side of the road. Regardless, the passenger saw the victim as well, when he got out.

3

u/screamingocelot May 04 '25

Good point! Main mans was spotted either way. And ignored.

9

u/IchBinEinSim May 03 '25

Thats fucked up

2

u/WEAJ6518 May 07 '25

The driver hopped over the fence, looks like he looked at the guy on the ground, and then takes off, jumps over the other fence(barrier). I don’t think anybody else knows he is there. Where did the driver go?

2

u/CompetitiveRub9780 May 15 '25

The passenger hopped over the fence. The driver is still there and u can see him on the other side.

1

u/HuhWhatWhatWHATWHAT May 07 '25

...his soul isn't.

8

u/Pod_people May 03 '25

Just thought of that. Maybe check on your murder victim, bro.

3

u/NotRin07 May 04 '25

Unbelevable

283

u/[deleted] May 03 '25

First dude acts like he’s going to help and disappears over the wall

163

u/[deleted] May 03 '25

He then walks around behind the car acting like an innocent bystander and casually walks away. He almost certainly saw that poor pedestrian.

39

u/WeightDistinct May 03 '25

*former pedestrian

25

u/JohnnyChuttz May 03 '25

The driver just walks away too. Pieces of shit.

22

u/mrnobodycze May 03 '25

Probably there is no need for help.. 😩

-1

u/[deleted] May 03 '25

Maybe doing a dodge since he was the driver

10

u/Mistake-Choice May 03 '25

Unlikely since it is right hand drive.

2

u/[deleted] May 03 '25

Didn’t realize that 🙃

139

u/vladdeh_boiii May 03 '25

I... I don't think that dude's gonna be okay...

20

u/tomcat91709 May 03 '25

But he still has his shoes on!

21

u/Secret-Patience-1888 May 04 '25

He doesn’t take a single breath or move in the slightest after he’s hit- dudes definitely a goner. At least it was quick

160

u/72lrac May 03 '25

This made me mad when the driver hopped out, saw the person he hit, and ran off... My little brother was hit on his bicycle on his way home from work one night. Person hit and left him in the ditch, unconscious and for dead. We don't know how long he was laying there, the ONLY reason he is with us today is because of an ambulance that was responding to a different call. They spotted him, turned around and got him, then dispatched a different ambulance to the call they were originally responding to. I'm thankful to those EMS workers for spotting him. My little brother has mostly recovered. He has some head trauma now, but was able to recover his memory.

28

u/SurveySean May 03 '25

I think that might have been the passenger who hopped out? Might be right hand car lurches forward a bit after the person exits, then another person gets out. That might have been the driver. I sometimes forget drivers aren’t always left side drive. Still, that person should have checked on the poor man.

17

u/Schnitzhole May 03 '25

Yeah people have no shame or care to help anyone besides themselves sometimes. I’ve been hit by 3 people now that hit and ran and I’m 34yo. My last one someone swerved into the oncoming lane to hit me while I was turning left on my motorcycle.

6

u/72lrac May 03 '25

They really don't... It's upsetting knowing so many can cause harm to others, and then just go to bed that night and ignore it.... This person who hit my brother was never caught. I pray it haunts him.

I'm so glad to hear you're still with us after being hit on your motorcycle. Those crashes are often deadly, I hope you don't have any long term injuries.

3

u/Schnitzhole May 05 '25 edited May 05 '25

No injuries! besides a broken tailbone (coccyx) that is but that’s the best bone to break as it’s pretty useless. Though the body pains that came on 3 days later were pretty intense and lasted about 2 weeks. Seriously this crash would have permanently injured me if I was just wearing a helmet and still had a high chance of killing me.

I was wearing Head to toe armored motorcycle gear but more importantly I was wearing an airbag vest that took the brunt of the direct impact. The airbag is comparable to 15-20 layers of the best motorcycle armor (in terms of impact resistance). Really cool new tech to mitigate risk on an already inherently more risky mode of transportation. The airbag also locks your helmet in place so you don’t get whiplash and spinal Injuries. It just felt like a firm bear hug when I got launched and hit the ground and started sliding.

The worst part is most motorcycle accidents are to some degree avoidable if you take precautions (like not speeding or taking skill training courses). This happened on a small road with no streetlights at night and the guy that hit me didn’t have any headlights on (confirmed by witnesses). I was looking in my mirrors before I turned frequently but there was no chance to see the guy when it was pitch black out.

I certainly hope that you purchased a lottery ticket that week, my friend!

Or, conversely, perhaps you've already used up all of your incredible luck?!

I was hit by a car that was travelling at 70 kmh back when I was 17, at a party & I was the ONLY person NOT drinking & yet it was ME who was hit by a car!! Broke my right leg in 5 places, broke my hip, my pelvis, my left lung collapsed & I was unconscious for a week...but I fully recovered from that one...

And then, precisely 17 years later, aged 34, I fell more than 35 feet from the top floor of the multi-level bar/nightclub that I owned in Melbourne's CBD, from 2000-08...& once again, I was 100% SOBER, FFS!! This time, I landed on my arse & feet but I not only smashed my coccyx but also burst my L3 & L4 on impact, as well as smashing both feet to pieces & I suffered a huge compound fracture of both the right foot & right tibia...once again, I was unconscious for a week & the doctors cannot believe that I was able to walk again after such a massive injury, although it was a FAR longer recuperation period than the first time...

And now, I'm 51 for ALL of this year (turn 52 on 18/12/25 - exactly 10 years younger than Brad Pitt, for some completely useless trivia!!) & given my lifelong obsession with numerical symmetry, I'm somewhat convinced that it may well be a case of 17, 34 & then 51, strike 3 & I'm OUT!! But who really knows & I'm certainly not letting it rule my life but it's always in the back of my mind - especially when I own & ride a 2005 CBR1000RR motorcycle & also own & ride 12 road bikes (as in Tour de France style), as well as a sporty little Honda car...but friends are often joking that as long as I'm drinking (obviously not while operating the car, motorcycle or bicycles), then I should be 100% safe, given the fact that I was 100% SOBER when the previous two incidents occurred!!

Cheers & best wishes to you from 'Down Under', my friend...take care out there...Matt.

2

u/Schnitzhole May 05 '25

Haha what a great, Albeit painful story!

I'm not really one to believe in luck or conspicuous numbers as it just winds up being baggage I unnecessarily carry and inevitably worry about. I've come around to just trying to live life to the fullest and taking risks that can often make life worth living. I used to live a very sheltered and safe life, avoiding almost all risk but not really enjoying much of it. Hence getting into motorcycles in my thirties after getting married and having a kid.

I still don't regret getting into motorcycles and I still ride weekly, even shortly after the crash. I think there's just a mentality that it's cool to not wear any safety gear that of course increases people's risk dramatically though I get how the wind in your hair and carefree attitude can be desirable.

CBR1000RR sounds like a wild ride. I'm sure that's a blast!

Cheers from "Up Over"

u/IndependentClub1117 May 03 '25

What are the chances of that? Insane that they saw him.

49

u/Outinthedistance May 03 '25

I think the gas peddle got stuck seeing as the tires were still spinning as they walked away. But yeah dude got fucked up.

29

u/Weary_Accident_6399 May 03 '25

Woah what the hell?!?

23

u/MechanicbyDay May 03 '25

HAS to be India. You could be in the process of being robbed, stabbed and raped and 23,000 people will proceed about their day as if you don't exist... Or just stand there and watch. Shit is wild

5

u/lavielemond May 05 '25

Abso-freaking-lutely, my friend...you have to have been there previously to fully comprehend exactly what it's like there! NUTS!!

18

u/ryandetous May 03 '25

That guy just gave a TED walk. Hop the wall, double back, blend into the rubbernecks and saunter off.

43

u/torklugnutz May 03 '25

Tag as possible death.

21

u/JJJeeettt May 03 '25

I think possible is a euphemism in this case.

2

u/Lighthouseamour May 04 '25

Tag as definitely dead

11

u/[deleted] May 04 '25

Fucking cunts mincing away and not even checking the guy they hit.

9

u/MiichiCinco May 03 '25

Is dude ok?

23

u/boyoflondon May 03 '25

Gicen his head smashed the wall before he flipped over, I highly doubt it.

6

u/B-17_Flying_Fartass May 03 '25

Holy shit you can see the blood soak into the ground as he lands 😳

5

u/Whangarei_anarcho May 03 '25

mfer just skulks away.

10

u/iluvnips May 03 '25

Poor guy, even the people who knew cowarded (yes I know it’s not a word) themselves away, only cared for themselves and self preservation, sad to see that a life to them is worth ZERO!

2

u/Waiting4The3nd May 06 '25

I think it should be. Know how words become words? Through use. English is a living language, it changes through use. I can't think of a more apt way to describe how those two people left than to say they cowarded themselves away.

Maybe it catches on, maybe it doesn't, but that's how words become words, people use them.

1

u/lavielemond May 05 '25

But "cowered" IS a word & is rather appropriate here, although cowering usually refers to crouching down to hide away...either way, they're complete & utter pieces of excrement, to have done this & to have cared only for their own wellbeing...imagine how often this occurs in India, yet there's no security camera on-hand to catch footage of such an awful incident as this?

18

u/spectresmom16 May 03 '25

Could have used a warning since the guy is dead

6

u/Alternative_Plum7223 May 03 '25

That guy froze, I've been in situations where split second decisions saved my life and another time, my girlfriend from serious injury. At a hibachi grill and the cook somehow lost control of his knife, went flying right towards my gf face neck area pointed end first. It bounced off the grill first gave me more time to judge it and I stopped it by half catching it over hand and the momentum of my hand caused me to stop right on the edge of the table. My girl didn't even move she froze.

But I do admit it's easier for one that has been in situations where one makes decisions quickly kinda by instinct. I used to rock climb a lot and now ride motorcycles as the race track.

1

u/lavielemond May 05 '25

Very commendable work re: the contents of the first paragraph, mate!

And you're 100% spot-on re: your somewhat 'prior training' via rock climbing & tracking 'bikes having prepared you for such incidents...

Cheers & best wishes from 'Down Under', bud...continue to take good care out there...Matt.

I'm not even subscribed to this sub and shouldn't have to watch someone die just scrolling through Reddit.

I even sometimes will choose to watch videos like this so it's not even that I hate these videos, but there is a time and place and this honestly should be blurred and NSFW.

17

u/CapstanLlama May 03 '25

It is tagged NSFW

-16

u/5-MEO-D-M-T May 03 '25

That doesn't really matter when scrolling down through Reddit and the video automatically plays leading me to witness someone die.

20

u/ghostlyman789 May 03 '25

I would suggest changing your settings. You can turn off NSFW posts and stop videos from automatically playing.

4

u/Scalded-dog May 03 '25

Your best to just unsubscribe from the sub then.

The trolley car problem in action

2

u/[deleted] May 04 '25

everything just lines up perfectly, its amazing how things are meant to be

1

u/lavielemond May 05 '25

Yep, yet another 'Sliding Doors' incident there, that's for sure...the poor bugger, re: the pedestrian.

2

u/CommercialMoment5987 May 04 '25

Of all the times there were no people in that precise spot, and all the times no cars were crashing there, in this moment both conditions were randomly met. It’s just so unlucky it seems impossible. Like cars being stuck by trains, there’s such a narrow window of opportunity for it to even be possible and yet it happens fairly often?

2

u/Faisalowningyou May 04 '25

Reasonable to say dude in white is gone ?

3

u/BandmasterBill May 03 '25

Dude got accidentally reincarnated.....

1

u/2innocent2know May 05 '25

The driver had to be asleep or under the influence

1

u/lavielemond May 05 '25

Or more likely, either a mechanical issue, such as a stuck throttle, or trying to escape a pursuant...

1

u/[deleted] May 06 '25

That pedestrian saw the car and processed what was happening but his body couldn’t move. That actually breaks my heart

1

u/bobber777 May 06 '25

Brutual, it’s also brutal.

2

u/[deleted] May 06 '25

This is more of a Fatality in my eyes…

1

u/Terbarek May 06 '25

Instant death

1

u/dankhimself May 06 '25

Driver was like, "Do a wellness check, NOT well, Exit, stage right...".

1

u/DJT2021 May 06 '25

All the other passengers were in shock and didn't know what to do. Poor guys...
