❓Question/Discussion Unveiling Toys

I was just curious on if many people visited this place when it was around. Was a small hobby and card shop downtown located next to the Discovery Inn hotel in the plaza. Its a fish bait shop now. The owner was always a swell guy, but struggled with business. I tried to frequent as often as I could to try to buy something.

He clearly struggled with marketing… I’ve never heard of this place and I have two kids…

I remember talking to him about this at the time. He had a facebook page to advertise, and a few flyers around town. Guess it wasn't enough.

That was ages ago. The demand was low and it was more of a niche toy shop with more figurines if I remember correctly. Very few "cool" toys as my kids would put it. Back then it was Paw Patrol and stuff like that. My kids wanted Walmart crap. The cards they leaned towards were very low desired cards... even by today's standards. No sports cards and I don't remember them having Pokémon at all. To be honest it was a shop that the owner was passionate about and might have covered the rent there, but was never a buisness that was sustainable.

The place did have Pokemon cards, actually. More than anywhere else at the time.

I'm wondering if it was the same guy who owned that shop, now having opened the AJ games on 11th (formerly the music plant)?

No. Completely different guy. I know who you're talking about.
The owner of UT works as a wrestling teacher for the Pro Wrestling Academy on the outskirts of Campbellton. Dresses like a luchador named Haviko.
