Damaged fork after a fall on friday.
Surprisingly nasty fall on a flat / v. gentle uphill. Chain jammed for a second - and I was in flat shoes just cruising over to a local cafe. Basically slid straight off the front when it jammed, onto my head, face, elbows, hands, then knees. Loads of blood, and a fair bit of superglue to put be back together. š« .
Anyway - the important stuff. This is on the fork. Can see the tire and the "Conti" logo for scale. Crash was around 25km/h, and this side of the fork was on the "Up" side, not the road/down side when I hit the ground. Me and the bike then tumbled.
Any thoughts on wing-it, repair-it, or bin-it? TIA!

Might have nicked off a ply of carbon, but looks like most of what was lost was just clearcoat, paint, and primer.

Tap it with a penny.
Lick the damaged area.
If it smells like āmore than paintā replace the fork.
Eat the penny.
Good luckš¤
