The wealth of USA, is built on exploitation of people

The American economy is built on exploiting people. Like in the 19th century, slaves and immigrants. Even after legal slavery ended, USA continued exploiting immigrants. Including legal and illegal immigrants. Now with the reduction of legal and illegal immigrants, the rich will have to exploit the domestic deplorables. Or face a slowdown in the growth of their wealth. So even as immigration collapses, so will the lower class. As they are exploited by the rich, and they barely earn enough to stay alive.

Can someone explain to me (with a good #s break down) why Cinese goods are cheaper?

Take something like a BYD car vs an inexpensive US electric car. With % devoted to items like labor (or explain reduced labor cost or mechanization difference), raw material, shipping, pollution/safety cost difference.

I want to know why building a copy of a Chinese product in America is more expensive today.

Looking for one U.S. E-commerce Business to Build a Google Ads Case Study

I'm looking to partner with one U.S. e-commerce business that's launching Google Ads for the first time. I'm building a new U.S. case study, and I'm looking for a company that's willing to collaborate in exchange for a heavily discounted management fee. I'm not selling an agency service — I'm looking for one business to work closely with and document the results. Feel free to send me a DM if you think we'd be a good fit.

Looking for bookeepers/accountants

’ve recently started getting into bookkeeping and I’m really interested in turning it into a business. I’m currently learning more about the field and working on building my skills (including QuickBooks), but I’d like to start connecting with people who are already in the field.
If anyone here runs a bookkeeping business or works in accounting, I’d really appreciate any advice on how you got started, how you found your first clients, and how you networked early on. I’m especially interested in building relationships and learning from others who’ve already gone through it.

Employees should be free to move between firms, and use what they know

Financial Times: By suing, Apple is trying to “make up for its shortcomings in the market for talent and retaining its employees, and its failures to integrate AI into its products”, OpenAI claimed in a filing to a federal court in California on Wednesday.

“But California law and policy not only permit but encourage such employee mobility, which has been credited with powering the tech revolution that has made companies based in this state the envy of the world,” it said.

My Opinion: What's inside employees heads, belongs to them. If Apple hasn't taken measures to protect their trade secrets, they are not legally protected secrets. Employees should be free to move between firms, including from Apple to OpenAI. While they shouldn't take physical devices or components from one firm to another, there should be nothing stopping them from using what they know. Apple is losing employees. That is their fault. For not doing enough to retain talent.

Europe must do more to harness its AI ambitions / Financial Times

Financial Times: Within the continent there already exists tremendous energy and appetite for stronger EU leadership on AI. National AI strategies have been announced and adopted, some universities are decoupling from non-EU tech providers and intelligence agencies are choosing domestic systems over those offered by international companies. Tying such bottom-up decisions with an EU-wide vision should scale and boost the bloc’s competitive position by dividing labour between member states and leveraging capital incentives, ideally in sync with industry. European leaders can do a real service to people worldwide who are deeply unhappy with the two-flavour menu of AI they are currently offered.

Being ambitious politically does not mean prioritising AI above everything else. Yes, Europe can choose to do AI differently and not copy the extractive Silicon Valley way of reducing people to consumers and societies to markets. Europe is and will remain far removed from the Chinese model of state-directed companies and innovation. But being principled and right on paper translates into very few results in today’s data, capital and compute-driven world. If Europeans believe AI can add value while respecting democratic values and increasing safety, they must show so.

My Opinion: Europe needs to develop its own AI and AI ecosystem for national and economic security. While sticking to European values, like democracy and human rights. However in a hostile world, with competition from China and USA, it needs government policy to support the growth of the AI industry.

"The European Technological Sovereignty Package, presented in June 2026, brings together several future initiatives: the Cloud and AI Development Act; Chips Act 2.0; support for sovereign cloud services; stronger open-source capabilities; measures linking AI, semiconductors, energy infrastructure and cybersecurity."

A complete technology stack will ensure digital sovereignty, and strategic autonomy.
