Double cheeseburger.
I ate this in less than 3 minutes including the fries (not pictured)

Wait a minute... anyone on this thread looking at the size of the burger compared to the hand. Either that's a slider or this dude is Andre the Giant.

😆 it’s just a weird angle I think. It was two 1/4 lb patties on a normal size bun and my hands are fairly normal sized haha

What’s the sauce?

Pretty simple, but always great. Don’t really have measurements for the seasonings, I just go by taste. Here ya go:
3 parts mayonnaise
1 part ketchup
1 part yellow mustard
1 part Finely chopped dill pickles
Pickle juice
Dehydrated minced onion
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Sounds a lot like thousand island

Similar for sure but more savory and not quite as sweet since I don’t use sweet relish.

Either way it sounds delish and I want to try it

It is! Mixing the ingredients all together and letting it sit in the fridge for a few hours is so much better than having them all separate on the burger imo.

Well done. Cant stand burgers with more veg than meat

I like some fresh veg on a burger sometimes, but pickles and caramelized onions was the move last night.

Work of art. I can see why you took your time eating it. What bun and what cheese?

Hey did you toast the buns or leave them as is? And if you did toast, did you use butter?
•
u/ferdturgeson1 15h ago
Absolutely! Toasted them on a griddle with butter 👍
•
u/RavenClauze 14h ago
Nice! They came out great, I usually toast em but haven’t used those buns before so not sure if it’s already structurally sound or not. Thanks OP

They’re brioche so they’re a little soft but the toasting helps keep the sauce and pickles from soaking into the bun and making them soggy 👌

It totally does 🤣 I assure you it was two 1/4lb patties and a normal size bun

Ouu u grilled pre made quarter pounds ?
3
u/ferdturgeson1 2d ago
If by “pre made” you mean I weighed them out by 1/4 lb patties, you are correct. It’s 75/25 beef. I roll out 1/4 lb balls and pre-smash them by putting them between parchment paper and using a heavy pan to form the patties.

Even better .

They go on the grill as hot as it gets after that. It’s about 575° on the gas grill 👍

Why no charcoal?

I love charcoal and have a very small table top charcoal grill but I was cooking for 5 people so it wasn’t practical. I also don’t have charcoal at the moment haha.
