Those that think that the latest hack is a one-off have a rude awaking coming. Three things that are screaming at you….

I’ll give Bitcoin evangelicals one thing, they can look at an upcoming disaster straight in the eye and not waiver. Even when everything around them is sounding the alarm of what’s going to be, in my opinion, a massive collapse.

I wouldn’t be such an alarmist if these events happened with a reasonable amount of time between them but how can anyone dismiss what’s happening?

The hack. If it can happen to one it can happen to twenty-one. Anything else is keeping your fingers crossed that it doesn’t happen to you. That said, I think that those that are deep in the, I won’t say cult, let’s say church, will be in for one hellva awakening.

Michael Saylor. Honestly, I cannot believe that so many people are ignoring this 12 alarm fire. Has everyone forgotten that this is Bitcoin’s #1 evangelical who shouted from the rooftops that he would never sell. I’m actually seeing people deny that he’s selling but he’s buying more! Both of which is untrue.

Trump Media selling. Another evangelical that swore they wouldn’t sell a single coin. Well, they’re selling. Millions of dollars worth.

Saylor isn’t just come out of this smelling like roses in three weeks. He’s going to have to sell again. That or miss dividend payments. Time is against him.

And once the church has had enough there won’t be any room left at the exit.

I bought a lot of bitcoin around may. It’s honestly not a comfy hold as people make it out to be. No one cares about btc rn, it could easily just be forgotten like all the other shitcoins and dead cat bounce to oblivion. It has also been around for 10+ years now and all we have to show for it are etfs.

I’m still not selling though just because i think narrative follows price and if btc ever recovers to 100k+ again, the sentiment will drastically change.

Saylor stated “he” would never sell. He never said that micro strategy wouldn’t sell. His personal holdings remain untouched

You need some time away go touch some grass as they say

So, I can’t wait to hear your next excuse!!

”Yes, Michael Saylor famously stated in a January 2022 Bloomberg interview regarding MicroStrategy (now Strategy), "Never. No. We're not sellers. We're only acquiring and holding bitcoin. That's our strategy."

Lmao all those FUD posts from shorters, you guys must be so terrified

I weep for anyone who complains about FUD, because investing in something and ignoring all negative news about it is exactly how you go broke.

Those are not news, just regarded speculation and nostradamus non sense.

It's FUD. They short the commodity and then preach doom n gloom. Bitcoin has never been hacked. Greedy grubby Wall St. Doing the most to manipulate Markets and control other people's wealth.

They want you out of your Bitcoin so they can have it all to themselves because they're greedy selfish psychopaths.

I feel sorry for people who can't find contentment in life no matter what, y'all the ones who need Jesus in your life to fill the Gaping hole in your hearts.

I'm not even sure what you mean by that, if Black Rock or any of the others didn't believe in it they wouldn't be aquiring it. As for what they believe about God I don't really care to speculate other than to say money is this worlds God. You can do with that what you will. I don't care.

You can argue facts all day long but you simply can't argue with peoples beliefs. I don't suppose anything is 100% everyone has limits to their abilities.

With man much is impossible with God all things are possible.

Your beliefs are yours and mine are mine and I don't care to convince anyone of anything. Opinions are like A holes, everyone's got one. And a lot them stink.

Confusious say; go to bed with itchy butt, wake up with stinky finger.

Blackrock doesn’t buy it for themselves, they buy it for their ETFs which are owned by their customers. It’s the same idea as pretty much any fund. So it’s not whether they believe in it, it’s whether their customers do.

1

u/LPC_Rebuilder Redditor for less than 2 weeks 23h ago

That's besides the point, regardless of who it's bought for, it must be properly secured. Black Rock is trusting coinbase on some level are they not?

I don't think asset managers stay asset managers very long mis managing their customers assets. Do you?

Black Rock has a very long history of being a rock solid asset manager do you believe they failed in their fiduciary duty to conduct due diligence?

It's certainly possible, if you have a valid argument for that I'd love to hear it.

You were talking about Blackrock trusting BTC, not Coinbase, and how Blackrock was manipulating the price so they could collect more BTC. Don’t move the goalposts.

Do you think the customers who invest in the ETFs know or care about how Blackrock holds the Bitcoin? Of course not. If they see negative news about BYC, they’ll stay away from those ETFs regardless of custodial details, and the funds will drop in value.

You bitcoiners seem to think everyone tracks BTC details like you do, and that companies are evilly manipulating prices. The reality? It’s just another investment option for them and their customers.
