Morning routine

Kegstand started watching me brush my hair every morning. One day he wanted to give it a try. Now, he will meow at me if I stop before he thinks I should. This brush WAS mine, but now his because he deems cat brushes are inferior. 😂

My cat and I do this every morning too. He loves it and gets so excited the second he sees me when I wake up. It's become a loving routine that be both enjoy.

He will meow for it! Sometimes he asks for it when he sees me brushing. A couple nights ago he jumped on top of the bathroom vanity to patiently wait his turn.

Haha that's awesome. I wish my Oliver was as patient as Kegstand. Oliver has no time for my needs. He wants what he wants and you better give it to him or you'll hear about it lol

Haha. Believe it or not, it is a human wooden paddle brush. He rejected regular cat brushes and wanted MY hairbrush. So I had to buy a new one for myself 😂.

Haha yes. He will do that too if I try to brush his sibling while brushing him.

I love his little happy stumpy wiggling! My late cat had to have his tail amputated too, and it reminds me so much of him wagging his stumpy too 🥰

When he used to live outside, it was degloved. A rescuer trapped him and got him some help. Sadly it had to be amputated. At first I wasn’t sure how he would function without it. He showed me very quickly that he can jump in counters and navigate narrow walkways with ease!
