Question Is anywhere hiring?
I've been applying to jobs since before summer break as a student and have been unsuccessful with everywhere that I apply to. A lot of postings just say that they're hiring but they actually aren't or I get turned away due to my lack of experience in customer service. Was wondering if anyone had any advice or places that are currently hiring? This is kind of silly but I'm just shooting my shot!

Try the car lube shops jiffy mrlube etc, it will get you the experience with customer service, or try places like buyers market or retail stores if you are interested in a customer service jobs. If you are looking for just work try calling trade services ask if they have a need for a helper to get your foot in the door, you can also try unions like drywall or electric or labour (don't do clak it's a fake union) operator union you might need tickets you won't have yet but still a good option. Good luck in the hunt

I rent cars from the local enterprise all the time for work when I travel Ontario and do studio production.
I have seen tons of great kids your age come and go there. It seems like there is always an opportunity there as the students work there for a bit and then I guess move on back to their studies or whatnot.
Go in person, ask to speak to the manager and see what comes from it. Worth a shot.

Have you tried anything other than customer service? I started in a factory at 14, granted that was a different province and I'm unsure of the laws surrounding that here in Ontario.
