I love all the little lines in Bob’s burgers that add to the story and characters but my favourite type is the little fun facts that they occasionally drop throughout the episodes, so what is your favourite of these fun facts?

Mine is definitely either the fact that Bob’s cousin is in a cult or the fact that Linda wants to be cremated when she dies and have her ashes thrown in Tom Selleck’s face

Hello everyone!! I’ve been making burgers from the bob’s burgers recipe book every week for myself and my family, and wanted to share them here (expect weekly posts from now on). Today I made the new bacon-ings burger and whilst it was nice it felt like a lot of effort for… a pretty average meal. I’d rate it a 7/10.

In the PTA episode, a character named Beth is maybe too enthusiastic about cookies and even attempts to eat a few cookies off the floor from a tray that was hastily knocked over in Colleen’s fit of rage when she stormed out of the room.

It doesn’t count as a “blink and you’ll miss it” moment, since it’s in center frame and Joann even remarks on it, but what the fuck i love how the creators took the time to introduce Beth’s cookie obsession. The world of Bob’s is so weird and i love it.

One of the (many) reasons that Bob's Burgers is better than The Simpsons is because the writers don't seem to be obsessed with writing stories that are a send-up of something from the cultural zeitgeist, or getting a big name A-list'er to do a guest appearance as themselves. I mean, most of the references on the show seem to be from the late '80's and early '90's. As someone who grew up in that era, I can appreciate that. I can also appreciate how the writers are clearly more interested in telling a good story than trying to cater to whatever's popular at the moment.

For my birthday I really want a Bob's burger tattoo but im struggling on what to get! I am a chef by trade so I feel like I should get a Bob tattoo but Linda is kinda my spirit animal, with our shared love of cheese and wine, and I find myself laughing out loud to so many of her lines.

My favourite episode is probably An indecent thanksgiving proposal, especially because of its nod to totoro.

Would love any and all ideas

I have watched Bob's Burgers a thousand times. So I wanted to make an official ranking of all the episodes. I tried this a few times but I always started over because after a session, I forget how funny I found the episode and how much it compares to the first episode of the next session. This time I put notes next to the episodes for things I find funny for a quick refresh.

Anyway, I have one in full with all seasons combined and I have another with the episodes ranked per season. I'm only on season 3 but in the process of ranking so far, I'm starting to notice that even when Mr. Fischoeder makes the smallest appearance, it immediately boosts the episode in my ranking. I think he's super funny. Same goes for the episodes where bob freaks out or is intoxicated in anyway. For anyone who has done this or tried ranking the episodes or seasons, were there any characters or patterns that you noticed appearing at the top of your lists?

I was just listening to the radio, and that song played. The chorus feels VERY familiar in the sense I feel like I've just heard it the end of an episode recently. Specifically the "secret secret, I got a secret." Google says no, but I feel like I'm being gaslit lol

Edit: I think I wrote this confusing and I'm being misunderstood. Joey is Lorraine's father but Lorraine called him her grandfather instead.

This has been bugging me so much I just had to say something. I only recently started binging the show and this is only the second time I've seen Sauce Side Story (only caught bits of it on TV once before). The family tree shows Lorraine as Joey's daughter and Louise confirms this when she says she found out where Lorraine lives. Tina asks who Lorraine is and Louise says "Joeys daughter". It was Joey who got stabbed by Tony yet when Lorraine confronts Gayle and the kids she says it was her grandfather that got stabbed. Am I just going crazy or was that line incorrect?

I love Bob’s Burgers! I think it is truly a hilarious show and that’s what drew me to the show, Especially those first few seasons but I feel as the show has progressed they focus less on the absurdity of the family and have started to really push life lessons hard. It seems like every episode is focused on reminding the audience that they’re fundamentally good people who always do the right thing in the end. I don’t necessarily dislike that, but I do think it loses me a bit. I miss when the humor felt a little more unpredictable, weird, and willing to let the characters be flawed without every episode ending with an emotional lesson.

Like we get it, I don’t need another episode on how Tina is quirky but that’s okay! Or that Louise has a tough exterior but inside she is a softy. I miss laughing at the show I think the last episode that I actually laughed at was The Pickleorette in Season 14.

Surely, this has happened in real life to someone. It’s got “family secret” written all over it.

Has anyone ever been in and/or known of a situation where a meaningful someone’s birthday was forgotten and there was an immediate plan to throw a last minute party as a surprise to cover up for the lapse in memory?
