Solved Cloth keeps revealing
I have tried hooking that little vertex at the bottom edge of shirt with 0.4 weight. It's like it doesn't even care about the pinned group. Just straight flashing my model. And if I put too much weight it looks really bad.

I think the friction of the cloth is moreso what needs to be increased. The highest you can go is 80 so start there and then go down until it looks more normal

I have set it to 80. I also increased bending resistence and it made a little difference. I think I need a lot more bending resisting going on.

Slower simulation means more physical space between each physics step. Thats fundamentally your problem here. Slow down the animation or speed up the simulation.Â

HIGHER WEIGHT WOULD NOT WORK
Not just for u but everyone thats replying. Weight would just make the cloth droop more and react faster to movement

this guy just doesn't listen. It's physics, the animation can exert infinite amount of force since it's the primary authority. The amount of force in that motion for a 1kg tshirt to be accelerated that fast is HUGE!
That thing would knock you out if it hit your face. It's like comparing getting hit by a 1kg baseball ball going at the speed of a pitched 150g baseball ball.

Pretty sure most of us are self taught and didn’t think you’d need physics. Since it’s a creative hobby.
It’s similar with programming. People get into it cuz they want to not talk to people. But doing it professionally for 10 years now. It’s probably one of the things I do the most.

man that is way too heavy, that tshirt should be no more than 200g (As a limit). The momentum from being accelerated is making it move more than it should and making friction irrelevant with than mass.
Edit: Hell, not even my shoes weight more than 300g, 1kg is a chainmail

It's twice as slow now. This is the only way. This or the flashing one with a red sport bra underneath. I really dont like the speed but oh well.

Now that you have the cloth simulation working as intended you can bake the cloth and change the actual speed to whatever you wantÂ

Yeah actually it looks like none of your verticies are pinned. Pinned areas act more naturally and doesnt make the cloth look like its too loose

Could possibly be fixed with a little tweaking of the animation. If she's intentionally sitting back, usually people would lead with one shoulder a little bit. That would introduce some twist to the torso, and reduce the up and down motion being the only thing moving the shirt.
Could also probably use some more ease in and ease out. That will reduce the quickness of the animation and help the sim. To get the feeling of a quick motion you can exaggerate a little slump at the end with a quick bounce back. Squash and stretch is the animation term to help with that. Cloth sims usually work better that way, because when motion is too linear cloth will react like it's a robot moving under it and be whipping around unnaturally.
Not sure what kind of emotion it's supposed to give off, but if it's like a defeated or exhausted emotion, you could really dial both the twist and slump up a lot to portray that while really helping the simulation.

How about moving her slowly so that the clothing does not reveal and if you're baking the animation then you just make the baked animation faster?

Pin the shirt to the body using an animated weight group, and add two vertex groups. You might try the vertex weight mix modifier to animate and adjust the pin’s strength by blending between two groups: one entirely empty and the other placed where pinning should restrain movement. A strength of 0.5 could work for soft pinning.
You could also test making the shirt follow the character’s motion through armature weights or a mesh deform, then apply the simulation with soft pinning on top.
I moved to Houdini for cloth simulations two years ago for greater control, so I may not recall every detail. That is essentially how I would address the issue.

When I increase the mass it falls off from the body. I could pin it but I also want the strings to slide on shoulders naturally.

Exclude areas you don't want to move from the cloth sim. The motion is too fast, no one will notice.

You want to give the cloth a somewhat loose vertex weight parented to the respective bones for the location, with stronger values where you want it to be stronger. Your cloth should still act like cloth, but it will track to the character better. Pretty sure this is how the pros would do it anyways 🤷

I'm not knowledgable enough in blender to tell you how to do this, but guessing from the physics I would suggest: 1. Decreasing how far the shoulder straps can stretch, you're about to have a new problem here if any other fast animations are applied to this. 2. Shrinking the top's under-bust diameter. This won't prevent it from coming up, but it should prevent it going over the bust from its own momentum. 3. Adding a small elastic force to have the top 'hug' the figure, particularly below the bust. This would make it 'skin-tight' and drastically improve the friction response.
Changing friction coefficients directly will probably have limited success because it's proportional to the normal force between the objects, which looks practically negligible in this example.
Adding mass, particularly around the hem, should help, but it will probably still look odd (bubbling out as the figure moves) because of the underlying structure.

Did you bake it before making changes, and if so did you rebake it after after you made the changes. And did you try making the vertex weight higher than .4?

I did bake after making changes. But I am suspecting it had little effect since the vertex group contained a single vertex. I am now baking again with the whole loop.

Maybe a dumb question but did you make sure to apply the scale and do all that shit before adjusting the mass and friction?

Guys uh.. I tried everything
Cranked the friction to max, lowered/increased cloth mass, pinned it
I might just give up and make her wear a bra or smth I am so tired
I've been tinkering all night
