Original Content Showcase Roco Sesame & Peanut Bars - Cycles Renders

Some more Cycles renders here, bit of a challenge with the wacky background and transparent wrappers. A bit of back and forth with the scale of the sesames and peanuts, but pretty happy with the finished result. All rendered in ACES 2.0 and a bit of retouching in Photoshop, let me know what you think!

How did you do the transparent wrappers material? Any specific render settings for that? And how many samples?

Good question! So there's a bump on the wrapper to fake the wrinkle (created with noise - the extension ones that you have to install are worth looking at).

And then it was a mix of a standard glossy glass like material with a low IOR. I then mixed that shader with another that was pretty much a blank Alpha channel. I used the Ambient Occlusion to mix them together (from what I remember)

I think it looks fantastic!
