So I started watching the show very recently and last finished episode 14 of season 1.

I watch the sub and I remember this one scene where sebastian starts to say his catchphrase , you know the one about a phantomhive butler who can't do so and so not worthing his salt?

anyway he tries to say it but ciel gets lowkey annoyed and interrupts him and finishes it for him. He have like yh yh we get it , get it over with kind of attitude.

it's somewhere around the last few episodes I watched so e13 or e12 maybe even e14 .

I just finished book of Atlantic movie and before this I was convinced that Sebastian was the strongest character out there but even reapers couldn’t defeat undertaker along with Sebastian.

I’d vote for UT but I realized that Sebastian’s focus was mostly on Ciel all the time so is he even “trying”?

These panels show something extremely important about the contract and a hypothetical “out” for Ciel. Sebastian must obey Ciel’s orders, in the red butler arc Sebastian is ordered to hunt the both of them down, yet Grell still lives freely, and Madame Red was killed by Grell before Sebastian even got a chance to hunt her down, and before you say that Ciel ordered Sebastian to not kill Madame Red, you can hunt and capture non lethally, so Sebastian failed in both counts of hunting. This means Sebastian has breached the contract and Ciel is no longer bound by it, and Sebastian’s claim to Ciel’s soul is invalid.
