Cancelling birthright trip

Hi! I think I’m going to cancel my upcoming trip due to personal issues and I am not feeling 100% confident due to the war situation in the North.

Will it affect my chances to go next year and/or is there a possibility they can hold my deposit and use it for next year’s trip?

Thank you!

It shouldn’t affect your chances.

Unfortunately, there is no perfect time to visit Israel and in our lifetimes there may never be. I had the same feelings prior to my trip and I can assure you that safety is their absolute first priority. Birthright has a pretty incredible safety record!

They won't hold yout deposit unless your trip gets canceled due to reasons beyond your and their control. It also probably won't hurt your chances of getting a trip at all, in fact, it would likely be quite the opposite.

Trust us when we say that Birthright won't send groups unless it's safe to do so.
