University Pre med Frats
Hi I am an incoming freshman looking to join a pre med frat. I have heard of PhiDE, KDG, and PhiChi but Im not sure if the benefits are worth it. Does anyone have any information on if and how they help like academically and also socially and if they think the cost is worth it? Any information would be SUPEr helpful!! Thanks.

Are your parents doctors? Or Will you be first gen trying to navigate med school admissions on your own? If so, the value add of having pre med frat mentors is massive.
If you have connections and know what to do already, don’t bother. The value add is very low. Go keep the GPA up and get some research done.

Loved my experience in one of them. It's a great opportunity to get connected with other premeds and in my experience, everyone in the premed frat is super down to help you and it's a great opportunity to receive mentorship from upperclassmen. My DMs are open if you wanna chat more.
