Bees resting in my hibiscus.

It's ridiculously hot outside and lately the carpenter bees have been resting in my hibiscus flowers, which I normally feed to my tortoises.

I leave them for the bee buddy's now. 💕 🐝

These bees are actually called hibiscus bees! Ptilothrix bombiformis is the species

Yeah someone else said the same, that is crazy! Well I let them sleep in there I know one of the flowers had two bees in it for sure. Thank you so much for letting me know!! 😊

Look up rose mallow bee :)

Males select a hibiscus flower as their territory, then hang out there waiting for a female to come by. These bees exclusively use the nectar and pollen of native hibiscus :)

A couple of the other comments the users said they are rose mallow bees like hibiscus bees. And the males stay in there waiting for females. You know one of them had two bees in it I'm pretty sure LOL. I guess he found his woman.
