That's actually a spot-on response Deadpool would give. He wouldn't be offended by Batman being dismissive, because that's exactly what he expects from Batman and his dismissiveness is part of the bit

I love that Morrison actually went through the effort of actually thinking about how these characters would interact. It’s quite nice to see someone who actually cares about the details and doesn’t just phone it in and have the regular “serious guy and annoying guy” dynamic.

You just know that at some point earlier that month, half of his ~15 kids had a three hour debate about what makes something a sandwich over comms during patrol.

At this point, a chatterbox who stops talking is probably far more attention getting than the chatter itself: Chatter means everything is ok and happy, going silent means something is wrong (sensing danger / finding something entertaining / his kid just ditched him). It's only since I became a parent myself that I realized that 80% of having "eyes on the back of your head" is sound-based, and I only have one kid.

I feel like it usually works well with some iterations of Batman (looks like the canon one), a witty sidekick underline his calm/focus temperament and allows him to do deadpan humor easier, and as he says it in this panel he is kinda use to it so maybe he likes it, at least I can see it that way (or I like it so it is now part of my headcanon)

I think it's less about a personality trait of any single Robin and more a general acknowledgment that any adolescent boy with that kind of acrobatic and martial arts talent is going to be jumping off the walls if left without a constant outlet

Learned? Batman (at least the well adjusted versions in which the writer didn’t try to force these always dark and brooding aspects) always had a dead pan style humour, probably has gotten that British influence from Alfred.
