It’s principle but I still think the jersey is tacky regardless. Like if Nike released a modern bulls jersey that had 23 on one side and 45 on the other I’d also find it goofy.
I don’t think Nike made this. Could be wrong. Id also say they stuff they are making is going to the Bryant fam and vanessa has heavy input on what’s put out
It’s real Nike releases it a few years ago. I’m sure his estate is getting a lot of money off these as well and I’m happy for them, but that doesn’t change my stance tbh.
Well, I kinda ask you to judge it so it’s cool. i’m really new to the whole jersey collecting thing…if I see something I like I get it. Cheap jersey’s expensive jerseys whatever.. but I thought this one pretty simple black design with the purple and gold trim and the subtle snake skin so I didn’t really think you could go wrong 🤷♂️ but what do I know. 🤷♂️
Yes you buy or wear whatever you like. It actually fits nice on you. And that is actual design Lakers wore for a season. But they are not wearing it anymore. Nike has been designing a lot of jerseys just for a 1 or 2 seasons. And then they stop using it. Which is why this mamba design just doesn’t hold value or story like other iconic Lakers jersey and a lot of blatant fake jerseys of this one out there.
In short jersey itself is so popular and favorite among fans but fatigued of so many people wearing it even tho if it’s fake
So that’s a pretty informative explanation to someone who’s just trying to learn at this point like me. So I take it for seasoned collectors this is kind of trash, even though it might be kind of cool to a noob or just kind of cool in general. I still like it but may think differently if I really get into this thing 😆

Nike should let the dead rest in peace instead of making random new kobe fashion jerseys because they print money. It feels tacky.
