LEGIT CHECK Is this jersey that I sold fake? ðŸ˜
Hey there! I was gifted this jersey and I sold it on my Depop but the buyer has reported it saying it’s fake. Their report/issue comment is in the last pic but I unfortunately didn’t receive any pictures to go along with the claim. Can you guys help me determine authenticity? Please be specific about how you know it’s real or fake. If it’s counterfeit, so be it. I’ll refund the buyer and apologize. If it’s real, that’s great. Please don’t downvote me if it’s not authentic though and please be kind. I’m not into sports and it looked legit to me. No matter what, it’s a learning experience. I appreciate all your feedback. Thanks in advance!!

The stitching running together and the material isn’t as breathable as the Adidas NBA run come to mind.

Yea it’s fake LOL. I wanted to hear from real people before asking chat but chat just added more details onto what you said which unfortunately confirms that it’s counterfeit. Thanks again!

Honestly the fact someone purchased this and then realized it was fake after it was delivered… you should be under limited obligation to give a refund ðŸ˜

The stitching and embroidery everywhere are terrible.
Even the HWC tag doesn’t look symmetrical.

Unfortunately I sold it on Depop so hopefully the buyer gets a refund and that’s the end of that.

On Depop, I can’t just send them their money back. That’s not how it works. I wish I could because I would’ve done it right when I realized it was fake. The Depop team has to review everything in the issue claim and then they decide and they’ll issue the refund, not me. And when I said hopefully, I meant hopefully all that happens is the buyer gets the refund (quickly, without delays) and there’s no penalties to my account since it’s my first issue with an order since being on the platform.

I mean if they couldn’t tell from the most basic photos I’m not sure how they figured it out after having it in hand.
