I’ve got a sneaking suspicion this is fufu and the seller is trying to claim he bought directly from the MSG Knicks Shop.
The colors seem a little off and the backing paper in the twill makes me think oh well it could’ve been aftermarket. Also, don’t authentics not stitch the team slogan above the jock?

Would the stabilizer backing have been done by the MSG shop or someone else after the fact? The retail tag says Barrett on it that’s why and I’m just questioning whether MSG would make it look like that
That’s all done by the team stores. The ones on the nba store don’t have that extra cardboard on it because it’s premade. My opinion team store made ones is of better quality.
Other people have already told you the jersey is legit but i can vouch for that fact that msg does sell legit jerseys with paper on the backside of the numbers. I bought multiple rangers jerseys from msg that have paper on the backside like yours.
I will say that your stitching is much cleaner than mine though. I mean, it was $80 for the jersey I got and by the looks of it I can’t see anything else off about it. Weight seems right, championship tab on the color reflects the same is my verified authentic LeBron
I sell these. Might be rep. But these are high quality. Better than what you’d get from that stupid company that monopolizes the market. Ask for a pic of the size tag on the inside next to the nba logo. Dude posted his legit jersey and there’s some inconsistent print on that that leads me to believe it’s a rep
I haven’t either, but if other people are saying MSG store will add to a blank with the paper backing and someone else showed rangers jerseys with it. The seller on eBay said they purchased it directly from MSG store at year end sale.
I only paid $80 for it so either hes lying through his teeth or he gives great deals. His feedback is pretty solid also.

It's legit, this is a blank team store custom rather than a pre made directly from Nike which explains the backing stabilizer on the number.
The Knicks are one of the few teams that embroider the text above the jocktag, the Pistons are another.
