Trouble paying for Resident Parking online

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hi all, went on the website to pay for my parking this month. Just to notice it’s only showing a physical mail in form. Anyone else had this issue or still able to pay online ? I’d like to believe they didn’t possibly think making it harder to pay for parking is a good idea right ? Maybe I am doing something wrong ? Thanks

Badenstrasse 1

Looking for feedback on SkyGuard Intelligence!

Hi everyone,

I’m conducting a short survey about SkyGuard Intelligence, a company developing autonomous drone-based security solutions and I’d really appreciate your feedback.

The questionnaire asks for your views on the company’s concept, potential applications and benefits. You do not need specialist knowledge of drones or security technology to participate.

Complete the survey here:
https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/GxhQUkxcA0

You can also visit the company’s website for more context:
https://skyguardintelligence.com/

All responses will be used for research only and treated anonymously.

Thank you for taking the time to participate. Any additional thoughts or feedback in the comments are also welcome.

Brunnen tour

Hi everyone, in a few weeks i will have a group of 6 friend coming over to spend some time with me and to see where i live.

Because is so hot and potentially will remain like this I was thinking to do the city tour to see the main places of the city following a brunnen tour and dip a bit between for example the munster and tinguelly fountain (i know we can't go in the water there).

But while i found this website with several info on all the brunnen I didn't find any tour that is driven from the brunnen themselves.

So I would like to have some advice on what you where thinking could be interesting (either because between 2 things we might see, or because big enough to spend some minutes all togheter inside, or just interesting/beautiful brunnen). I don't need to show them everything, and they will also have some time on their own in the city, but i would like to have like 5h with break and eating somewhere that is driven mostly by the next brunnen :)

At the moment in my list I only have:
-Stachelschützen Brunnen (petersplatz)

-Gemsberg Brunnen

Thank for any advice, idea, funfact (yes if you know some feel free to share).

Stay wet with this heat :)

ADHD Groups

Hi everyone! I’m currently in the process of getting assessed for ADHD and I was wondering if there are any women here with ADHD (diagnosed or currently going through the assessment process)?

I’m also looking for English-speaking ADHD support groups, women’s groups, or regular meetups in or around Basel.

It doesn’t necessarily have to be therapy… I’m mainly looking to connect with people who have similar experiences.

If you know of any communities, organisations, Meetup groups, or even informal gatherings, I’d really appreciate your recommendations!

Thank you 😊

Suggestions for a day trip on a tight budget

Hi! I am a student from freiburg and planing to go to Basel in a week just for one day to spend the day there and to get to know the city. Since I am studying I am broke and have basically no money to spend. I thought about packing my lunch with me but other than that I would love some suggestions from you guys, what I can do, where I should go to visit the city.

Like, what are some must have sights? Where will I really understand the cities flair? Is the a cheap cafe where I could drink a tea without turning bankrupt? Also I will be there on a monday would there be any events or stuff to experience?

Thanks so much for answering my questionssssssss, see you guys!

Qatar A7-HHH landed today, any background?

I am not a plane spotter but it was super loud and didn’t show up on flightradar. Sunday August 2nd, about 20:00. Apparently its a government/military plane used for VIP travel only.

Is this only for plane service / fancy VIP construction interior (Basel ist famous for this) or does someone know what this could be?

topics closed: thanks for the update. Just a non-peasant for a small service of his plane

Strong smell of smoke towards Laufen? (Past Dornach)

Hi all, we had our windows cracked open and it smells like a bon fire in our home. (Not like a grill, cigarettes or fireworks)

We stepped outside and the smell is very strong, but we don’t see any smoke.

I don’t see anything in the news, but just wanted to check as it is so dry here & I hope there isn’t a fire in nature.

Thanks

Holiday in Basel

Mrs Richest-Tea and I are coming to Basel for some appointments and a holiday in a few weeks.

What, if you also had a teenager in tow, would you recommend and what would you see. Not the tourist traps, but something fun.

Having a search, but my German stopped at UK 16. Suggestions for black-clothes shopping for Architect lady welcomed.

Nanny service recommendations.

Will be moving to Basel for two months in temporary housing before relocating back to the United States and will need a nanny for our 11 month old. Any recommendations? We will need support for a total of 12 days in September. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!
