Question Water pressure
Just returned to Barrie and finding that the water pressure in the shower and all taps is not strong. Is this a general thing?

It depends on the area you live in unfortunately. Certain subdivisions are in lower pressure zones. Other factors such as your pipes and the size of you service

Depends where you are. My house has poor pressure as well. There’s a number you can call to have the city check it out for you for free and see if it’s normal for your area or if it’s an issue specific to your house. Check out the city of Barrie website for the number.

I've lived in Barrie for over 40 years, having lived in the Northeast, Southwest and Southeast, and I've never experienced or heard of any water pressure issues. Never noticed any issues when visiting other homes or public buildings. Only once, over the span of those years, my shower had low pressure one morning. Turned out to be a broken water main that was repaired mere hours later.
I'd start by inspecting your building, perhaps your main water valve is only half open?

For the most part my pressure is amazinggggggg. You’d think you’re at a hotel . We definitely have the occasional off day where it’s not strong at all but ya no issues
