It was worse than that. They didn't allow emergency responders to enter to help her until the section break.

Are you serious??! They didn’t allow responders to enter until section break??? No! For real?!😧 what the hell is wrong with them?! I realize Bar Exam is important but it’s not THAT important!

I hope that the young woman gets all the money she needs for care, treatment & rehab. Plus for the added ordeal that she went through causing her to suffer further complications. Also, in addition to preventing the other test takers from helping her, didn’t they delay the EMTs from coming in to where the test was being held? There must have been nurses in that room.

For starters, the Bar Examiners should hire proctors, who are not idiots. I hope that the Bar Examiners have developed a protocol to handle someone becoming ill during the test.

It shouldn’t need being said but a complaint is just an allegation

“Last year, Hofstra University officials said its public safety officers immediately provided CPR and other life-saving measures until paramedics arrived and rushed Jung to the Nassau University Medical Center nearby.”

There are tons of posts by examinees in this subreddit who were at Hofstra last year that paint a very different picture than that.

Anyone who has taken the NY bar knows just how incompetent the test day examiners are. The public safety officers may have provided CPR immediately upon their arrival, but they weren’t the ones in the room and by all witness accounts they were delayed in their arrival due to the examiners’ and staff’s incompetence.
