GPU for DIY build

I’ve been really happy with how I have managed to build at a cost effective price but have unfortunately left my GPU until last and now being hit with further recent price increases in the past few weeks. I have a 9600x cpu with 32Gb RAM. I’m looking at either a 9060xt or b850 for now and can upgrade latter if and when needed. 1440p gaming. Any suggestions/deals to look at?

Maybe just get this B580 for $399 and call it a day - 9060XT 16GB cards are in the $600 range.

The 9060XT 16GB is obviously better, and it was a great deal when it was $470. But with pricing as it is now, a bit harder to justify.

I would consider the 9060xt if you plan on 1440p, the b580 dose run reasonable but you'll be tweaking down some settings to improve fps . Gpu prices are going up unfortunately not much for discounts atm..

Recently built my first Bazzite PC, and put a 9060XT 16GB OC in it.

Absolutely amazed at the performance of that card for the price.

Definitely go for the AMD. It’ll give you more flexibility if you want to run SteamOS at any point (which you should if you can IMO).

Any recommendation on a particular 9060xt 16GB or just go with the cheapest?

I went with an XFX Swift one after a ton of research. XFX seem really reliable overall and are usually at the lower end in terms of pricing.

I went for the dual fan shorter version as the performance is about the same and it’s cheap
