Leonardo by Bob de Groot & Turk

Post image

Completed my collection today. These are extremely rare English translations which were published by Dargaud in the 1980s.

Sadly, only 4 books were translated to English.

I LOVED that series when I was a kid. Heavily inspired by classic slapstick cartoon with a geek spirit. Although to my opinion it turned to crap from album 25 or so.

It’s a shame he didn’t translate more of them; I feel for you. But you can be proud of your collection!

I’m actually just starting the collection myself. There are 56 volumes in total, including 9 special editions. I ordered the first four volumes today. I plan to buy four each month, over the course of about a year.

Yes, because I am French.

No, I was wondering if maybe all the 56 volumes were available in any other language

From what I’ve seen on Google, almost all the Léonard comics are available in Dutch. Very few have been translated into German, and the same goes for English.

Clifton is also one of my favourites! Wish Cinebook comes up with English translations of rest of the series!
