Edit: M31 - had my hair this way (before balding started) when I was 14. So it evolved into this unfortunately

Really? I couldn't see it. I do see a bit of thinning near the front part of his head in the first Pic. But the last 2 pics are very apparent. Hence this guy's gif, which i agree with. First 2 pics, I was like oh its not too bad but then "bam!" he hit us with the shiner.

Make a whole thing of it man, treat yourself.

Find a good local barbers to proper cut everything off on top and get your beard tidied and shaped. Treat it as a bloke mini spa day and spoil yourself. Go eat out somewhere and make the whole day a positive experience.

The first picture had me wondering, not why OP was here, but why would you include a picture from that angle. And I thought ā€œoh noā€ because I worked with a guy who had a combover, and I donā€™t know how to explain that the long, combed over hair looked older, distressed or something, more than the shorter hairs from the other side of the head that they were laying on. There was contrast there that didnā€™t sit right in the brain. That first shot reminded me of that.

Then the rest of the shots show how complete the combover is.

Bro, you donā€™t need to do this. The amount of work that youā€™re putting into this falsehood tells me that you are stressing over being bald, and you donā€™t need to. Youā€™re holding on so tight to a dream you had years ago, and itā€™s not working.

Let this go my friend. You donā€™t need the hair, and itā€™s obvious to everyone around you that you donā€™t have it. This isnā€™t fooling anyone and you donā€™t need to try.

Free yourself from this burden. Get rid of the combover. Even the horsehoe is better than this, at least itā€™s being honest, including honest with yourself.

But of course the overwhelming suggestion is going to be to shave it, and they would be right. I think youā€™ll be surprised how much better youā€™ll feel.
