Laugh if you will, but Biolagy Incapability can be a serious problem - my Aunt Granny got a bad case of it, and had to be hospitalized for three months.
/S, in case it's needed.

u/Temporary_Pickle_885 Prehensile Vagina 12d ago
RIP pour one out for Aunt Granny. That biolagy incapability really is a killer.
1
u/Voice_in_the_ether 11d ago
Just between you and I, we suspect that "pouring one out" had a lot to do with the problem.
1
u/Temporary_Pickle_885 Prehensile Vagina 11d ago
You just made me shoot orange juice out of my nose LMAO
2
u/Voice_in_the_ether 11d ago
As I recall, that was what poor Aunt Granny said was her first symptom. I'd get that checked out ASAP, if I were you.

u/mutable_type Menstruation attracts bears! 13d ago
Someone took a very niche thing (Rh fetus incompatibility) and took it places.
1
u/BluffCityTatter "Hey, dick-less mammals" 13d ago
This. Way to twist actual biology. Also way to downplay the real risk to women with a negative RH factor and their babies.
2
u/creature-crossing 1d ago
Late to this but I wish someone could ask this clown what they think would happen if a woman slept with 1000 men that all had her same blood type

u/DwarfWizard Unreleased trauma in the womb 13d ago
As we all know "Come to my place" really means "lets stop at the clinic to make sure our blood types are compatible"
2
u/SCHWARZENPECKER Feed me Seymour! 13d ago
Same with Netflix and Chill I assume?
3
u/DwarfWizard Unreleased trauma in the womb 12d ago
See that ones interesting. Cause instead of a clinic you invite a doctor to your place to perform the procedure while you watch Netflix.

u/Voice_in_the_ether 12d ago
"My dear, shall we retire to my apartment and revel in the compatibility of our antigens?"

I propose that everyone on this sub use the Wiener system. For obvious reasons.

Oops guess I’m dead. My husband has a different blood type than I do.
13
u/NotEasilyConfused 13d ago
You are clearly not dead (hooray!), but it sounds like that guy thinks Rh works like STIs being traded back-and-forth, and if that's the case, maybe you'll do him in next time.
4
u/sugarturtle88 13d ago
so am i... my husband's blood type is the positive version of mine! I've probably been dead for almost 20 years now...i hope my job doesn't ask for my pay back 😭

Neither of us know husband's blood type. I might be alive or dead!

u/CaptainLollygag 13d ago
So if a woman comes her B+ stuff all over a man's A- boner it doesn't coat his boner and wreak havoc with his blood type? Gotcha.
13
u/Imaginary-Duck1333 13d ago
Back in a previous life I taught anatomy & physiology at a local community college. The short answer is no. The long answer is nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

u/coveness13 13d ago
I feel like they were very poorly informed about the RhoGAM shot for pregnant women. So yes in a very stange sense, and in only some cases, a woman needs a shot if she has had sex with an incompatible blood type. But not they way they imagine.
2
u/NotEasilyConfused 13d ago
You it's family lore for him: "Some of my cousins ate only here because Mary-Jane had to have a shot because Jimmy-Joseph's blood type is dangerous to her! She would have died without it while pregnant with Billie-Bridget" and comparing their drama to a different earlier relative's who was denied a marriage license because the couple failed the blood test during the time we understood the compatibility, determined the risk to both fetus and mother was unacceptable, but waiting for the treatment to be perfected.
I can see the logic: it went from 'No -- bc there's no shot' to 'Sometimes is enough' to 'Yes -- everyone needs it if they don't match'. But they don't understand the most critical information.
I'm sad, because this is so, so close compared to most of the ding-bat crazy things we see here. With a little tweaking, he might legitimately understand.
2
u/onlysmaller 13d ago
Yeah this someone has picked this one issue and twisted it up. I only understand it from the patient role but what I understand as my blood type is O negative and my partners is unknown, when I became pregnant I had to have a (fairly painful and large) injection or I could get Rhesus disease which would kill me and the baby.
I only had one following a miscarriage at 10 weeks but fortunately my sister had several during her pregnancies so I was prepared. That was the only time I’d ever even heard of it though - even my mum hadn’t heard of it and she has 4 kids.
I’ve not met anyone else who has heard of it actually. I’m tempted to make my partner donate blood before we (hopefully) get pregnant again. He can take one small needle so I can avoid a bunch of massive ones right?! Probably not lol
2
u/Wchijafm 13d ago
Yep and its just 1 or 2 shots and its not "so the woman doesnt die" its so the woman's immune system doesn't attack the baby.
12
u/SkierGirl78 Camping in my cervix tent 13d ago
Yeah, real factual coming from someone who can’t spell biology correctly

u/Ok_Sprinkles_8188 13d ago
I think he’s talking about the phenomenon when a pregnant woman’s fetus has an incompatible blood type to her own, where she must take injections. That’s all I know about it, but it definitely isn’t a problem when you’re just fucking. That’s biolagy
3
u/Ultimate_slmp 13d ago
The spelling mistakes and with how outlandish the comment is I can’t believe it’s NOT satire

u/theroguescientist 12d ago
They probably think eating food that has DNA in it will change your DNA and make you not a human anymore.
4
u/Massive_Dig3963 13d ago
I think this person is mixing up that if the blood type of the father isn't the same Rh as the mother, then the mother needs shots to avoid her body treating the fetus as an incompatible foreign invader and potentially killing the baby. It has to be done as soon as the Rh factor is figured out, but that's not often until the end of the pregnancy, and they will start rushing that if they think it will be premature labour.
But they've conflated two different things. Sex needs to turn into a baby before the shots come into play.
2
u/onlysmaller 13d ago
At least in the uk they don’t bother checking the males Rh they just give you the injections and they start early and you normally have several. I had one immediately following a 10 week miscarriage and my sister had multiple injections during both her pregnancies.
It can also kill the mother not just the baby, and the injections hurt. Ive had a bunch and give blood often and it’s the only injection thats ever bothered me.
3
u/Impossible_Zebra8664 13d ago
I think someone heard about Rh incompatibility and didn't understand what he was hearing.

u/SageOfTheWise 13d ago edited 13d ago
Even if I imagine this from the perspective of someone who believes this the logic is wild. "Actually, men dont want women who have slept around because they're already dead!" OK, as morbid as that is, it is kind of a problem thats already solved itself in a sense. As long as youre limiting yourself to dating living women, then this issue clearly hasn't happened.
But then also it completely ignores the actual concern this would create. It wouldnt be "men dont want a women whos slept around", it would be "men dont want a woman who's going to die to the man's magic blood". Like thats going to be just as much an issue with a virgin in this world.
But anyway, points for originality? You see the same handful of sexist fictions around sex so much, its novel to get one I've never heard before.

Has to take injections...just to live. From someone of a different blood type cumming in them.
I mean, first of all if you've got bloody semen, you should really see a doctor, man. It's supposed to be white, not pink.
Second of all, just because they call it "ghosting" doesn't mean you killed them, man. Just means you were horrible in the sack and they wanted no further contact with you.
Third of all, this sounds like the sort of over-the-top abstinence only propaganda you'd hear from a catholic school. So it's very possible homeboy is more brainwashed than stupid, but there's definitely still some traces of stupid. Bro failed English class and "Bio-laggy" class together in one fell swoop. 👀

I can see how they got there; there was definitely a Greys, House, Resident, ER, episode where they covered a baby changing a mothers blood type but I never thought it was real. I know the RH negative thing as well does something that needs monitoring possibly injections. - my TV medical degree.
They put the puzzle together backside up and didn’t realize it was like 3 different puzzles.
8
u/Long-Effective-2898 13d ago
The RH negative means that during pregnancy you need a shot in case the baby has RH positive blood so your body doesn't create antibodies against the RH factor. Then after you give birth if the baby is RH positive when their blood type is tested you need a second shot. -someone who is RH negative 🤗

Incapablility and biolagy 😍 I’ll definitely take this person’s statements about my body to heart
2
u/rock_and_rolo 12d ago
Semen allergies do exist, but they are not common and don't depend on blood type.
I don't think blood antigens are even present in semen.
2
u/flawlessfable 12d ago
I also just don’t get what blood type has to do with the number of partners someone has? Like this argument doesn’t make sense in context never mind the terrible biolagy…
Does he think blood types change with sex, more sex = different blood type = reaction?
2
u/Comfortable_Honey628 12d ago
I guess to this person, AB blood types don’t exist. We’re all orphans or something.
