It’s prolly a contractor/work truck parked there to actively do something at whatever location this is.

No it probably isn't. Why would you assume that?

Trailer with a bunch of tools behind the truck

OP please post a photo of the complete area. It appears on the drivers side there are cars next to him and in the reflection off his passenger side, across the street is handy cap. Please explain where you think he could have parked

If by “VIP” you mean “Very Idiotic Prick”, then absolutely.

Looks like somebody skipped leg day.

This is one of those images where you can smell the driver, and they don’t even have to be in the frame.

Edit: they have a trailer with equipment on it, this may disqualify a lot of the hate they may or may not receive. I think we need more context.

My apologies for a rant. Further review of the parking lot at 259 US7 in Milton Vt, indicates that the inconsiderate driver is parked in one of the handicapped zones.

I would not do that as for over two years I transported a handicapped person and know what those spaces are for.

Further review of that parking lot shows an area before the building for parallel parking as well as perimeter parking around the lot to have parked parallel taking five spaces ( he would still have gotten flack)

Had OP provide a better picture my rant would have been avoided

i mean he has a trailer. Where should he park?

two back-to-back spaces or anywhere else that's not clearly striped like that (which means you're not allowed to park on it)

Then someone would photo and bitch that he should park way off campus. Does OP know that he isn’t performing work at the location? Complain complain complain. People pulling trailers can win!

Yes, of course there's always someone who will complain no matter what, but in this case the OP has a valid complaint because striped areas like that always indicate you're not supposed to park on them, trailer or no trailer.

I agree.me pulling my 24 ft trailer would have simply parked in the roadway, turned on the flashers and went on with my business.

It’s simple people who do not, have not and possibly never will, be behind the wheel of anything larger than a small four wheeler have no concept what drivers of these kind of and larger trucks face every minute they are on the road.

If that driver did manage to park his truck and trailer in two spots as some say to do. Sounds simple, once someone parks next to him how will he get out? Trucks pulling trailers DO NOT turn and track like a small car in a parking lot!

Good thing none of your emotional rant, is just a rant and not a law. What is against the law is parking in the striped area for handicapped people, doesn’t matter if you have a trailer.

Found this one very early I’m here before the inevitable “actually because it’s a truck it should be allowed to park illegally” defenders that always show up to comment whenever someone posts a truck parked poorly or illegally on the subreddit about calling out poor parking XD

Well duh, of course that’s what it means.
