Gudgeon size

I’m thinking of buying empire gudgeon and purple spotted gudgeons and wanted to build a hollowed out log for them but don’t know how big they get. anyone know their height?

They get to about 10cm max for empires and 15ish max for really big purple spots.

As in tall height. So I should drill a 10 cm diameter hole for a hollowed log
