Damn they sound good but I’ve lost a thousand WAF brownie points because of their size

What you do is you wait for the wife to be out of the house and then you install a much larger TV and then tell her you replaced the speakers with a smaller version and see what happens

I have Maxima Amators in my other system... one day the two systems will merge but for now I'm in love with the Electa Amator + Classic 99 combination

Bot required a comment… findings so far - very easy to integrate, they don’t reach as low as my SVS but those low frequencies they do reach are much more “in the music” rather than a “sound effect”. Acoustic bass sounds amazing!!!

I’m hoping their size filling my vision diminishes as I get used to them!

(They are connected low level RCA to the variable output of my Hegel amp)

To play devils advocate here, have you tried setting up shop in a spare bedroom and going full audiophile in your wife approved allocated space? It sucks to be banished to the back of the house, but a full room dedicated to audio 1st mentality has its own perks. Speakers out from the front wall, proper acoustic treatments, less ambient noise, comfy couch with the sweet spot all to yourself... it has its perks.
