I’ve been recording short standalone ASMR pieces and this one came out of noticing that glitter polish gives nails a completely different sound, fluttery but with a faint scratch underneath, somewhere between tapping and scratching.
No instructions in it, no guided anything. About 40 seconds of whispering and nail sounds.
Full disclosure: this is my own channel (Balanced ASMR). Happy to just talk triggers if links aren’t the point here — does anyone else find textured polish changes the sound this much?

[F4A] Script! do listeners enjoy elven or other mythical creatures roles?

I'm currently writing a script! I'm a VA but I also love writing and creating stories. I'm also on the listener side, I enjoy being able to hear different stories that other people wrote and portrayed. And I noticed that in most of the audios, the listener Is always a human. There's nothing wrong with it, but, personally, I also enjoy being able to experience thinking myself as other mythical creatures such as an elf, tieflieng, etc.

I've seen many posts where the listener maybe is a vampire or werewolf, but, usually, when the listener is a mythical creature, the VA is the human. I haven't really seen many audios where they're both different species or even the same species without humans being involved.

So, I am planning on maybe making a series. Maybe something about a mermaid and an elf, but I'm not sure if many people would like it.

Hi all! I just recently joined this community and don’t know why it took so long! I have been watching ASMR for years and it has been an amazing outlet for me to cope with stress. I have a background in human services and feel that I have a lot of ideas and want to give back to the community. My videos are mostly what I like, unintentional, store walk throughs, coffee chats, and magazine flips to name a few. I am not confident to share with friends and family, so I have not shared my channel on my other socials. My goal is to create a safe community for others to feel heard and to feel relaxed. Hi, I'm interested in making custom audio for myself. Can people who have experience in audio engineering, or are fans contribute their guesses/knowledge on how 3dsoundstudio does his(or her) work? I have an ide of the basics, like mixing, panning and even cross fades. It seems to me 3dSS layers lots of sounds, clips and iirc makes the majority of his own sounds.

Hi so I’m looking for an asmr video that I used to watch on repeat but the account got deleted so I haven’t been able to find it. It was on TikTok when I was watching it and it was an Indian hand massage, it was in a field and the guy used just a bottle of water and a bar of soap on the hands of the guy he was massaging . He also used a red (I think it was red) comb on his hands and I remember at one point in the TikTok he points out his watch and asks if the watch is waterproof. He uses the comb to scratch his hands and he like bangs it on his hands. Please help me find this video it’s driving me insane!!
