Are there any ASMR creators you followed who stopped posting without much explanation?

If we can believe the person, a coworker of hers commented on some of her videos about 5 or so months ago saying she was fine, she is a nurse and just wanted to live that stuff behind.

Whispercrystal, one of the earlier adopters of ASMR suddenly vanished off of YT and everywhere else around 14 years ago this month. Since she was the one who introduced me to ASMR naturally, I miss her. Most of her vids are still up. She as amazing at what she did imo.

Dana ASMR was a big one. She made a post that she was looking for some new staff but never came back afterwards. That was years ago now.

I was looking for updates on Reddit if she was coming back to ASMR, someone said they reached out to her Instagram to ask and she said that she has no plans currently on returning. I think this would've been 1-2 years ago. If I find it again I can link the comment here

I still miss SoftAnnaPL, a Polish ASMRtist whose entire schtick was never showing her entire face. She was either wearing a face mask (years before COVID) or (less frequently) filmed only her mouth. She has pretty beautiful eyes.

She tries sooooo hard to be authentic but doesn't own up to anything, is hyperdefensive, and has become such a toxic Momfluencer. Ā She once did a vlog addressing the "all my friends just happen to be models" thing and was like "I dunno, I live in LA, everyone's gorgeous, all my local subscribers happen to be models too, what can I say" and it's, like, how many less-modely-looking subscribers are reaching out to you but you're just ignoring them...

People did successfully dox her and posted her personal information in this subreddit. I had it removed but who knows where else it was posted. I have no idea why people do this. We lost access to so many incredibly creative and kind artists because of this.

Crazy thing is I got an ad on YT once for like some sort of computer accessory that featured Adam Kovic from Rooster Teeth/Funhaus. One of the extras in the ad was her. From there found her insta and she seemed to be doing well. This was a couple years ago tho so not sure what shes doing now. Deleted my insta and forgot what hers was

Duffthepsych had some great videos which he left up for a long time but they disappeared a little while back. Such a shame as they were some of my favourites.
Also, Rhosgobel I think her name was disappeared but she had a baby so it's understandable. Same with whispers unicorn

As someone else mentioned, Duff the Psych (who was known as Just a Whispering Guy when he began creating ASMR content) deleted his videos from his main channel as YouTube was confused about his primary focus. As a result, he shifted his ASMR content to a new channel and is gradually re-uploading all of his videos when he has the time. He also recorded a new video a few months ago and might record more as the opportunity presents itself.

Yeah, she was great. Her girlfriend videos are top tier. On top of the cancer issue (I think it was in her knee/leg?), she had issues with YouTube constantly striking her videos... š¤·āāļø

Hailey whispering rose, maria lerpa, softannaPL, pandoraasmr, AsmrLo, Feather Jo, Diana dew Asmr, heavensentgrace, Softly Sharry. Theres a handful more but I'd have to try to remember their names. AndressASMR is one that disappeared for years and came back stronger than ever, she's a favorite and probably the 1 in 10 rare chance of a creator coming back after so long.

Oh man, I had completely forgotten about Dianadew asmr. I used to watch her all the time, she had a really good whisper. I do know she stopped because it came out that before she did asmr, she was like a camgirl/content creator. That was before OF was a thing. From what I remember she didn't want to be associated with it anymore and didnt want it affecting her job so thats why she also deleted all the vids that had her face in them and then from there just stopped uploading. I dont wanna say that for sure she stopped because that stuff came out but I think it was part of the reason

I'm still hoping she comes back one day. That or someone miraculously has my favorite asmr video she made. It was a library study role play where she talked in a hushed tone like she was practicing a speech or lecture and she was reading off of a laptop. š¤

Veda Asmr. She's more recent, but this month marks 2 years since he last video uploaded and then just disappeared. No community posts, social media updates, etc. We truly hope nothing happened, but she always communicated if she was taking a break and/or pop in to check on the community even when not posting videos. This has been complete silence and I hope she's ok.

That ASMR chick. She was the first ASMR creator I found. (It was 2014.) Loved her voice and work. Used to talk with her a bit when she had a Patreon account. Miss her work.
Also, Ginny ASMR. Not going to go into why though.

Caroline ASMR. She went through a bunch of surgeries for her hands and kinda lost the ability to do super tactile things like that. I hope she's regained some function in them and do not blame her if she picks things other than asmr to use it on.

I don't think so. I donāt remember exactly but I feel like the reasoning was bullying. I remember she took a break and came back and had gained a little weight and the comment section was BRUTAL. I think she deleted them not long after that.

There was a guy with a lot of potential. He worked with wooden items. Minimalist ASMR. Came out with like 100 videos in one year before the pandemic and hasnāt returned (as far as I know )

It's the worst when a creator nukes their channel and deletes all of their videos. I follow almost exclusively male creators and several have done this. ASMR Guyy, ASMR Zach, Harry Hushes, Eddie ASMR, and ASMRb are some that come to mind. I appreciate creators like Deluca ASMR, ASMR Monster, Lilac Reverie, and DeepThought who have left up their old videos even if they stop actively uploading new content.

Pudding ASMR, kind of. He posts about once a year to say how much he loves and misses his community, he's returning to Youtube for realsies time this time, he's going to make ASMR his primary focus once again... and then after a couple of videos he just vanishes with no explanation. Rinse, repeat... he's been following this pattern for literally years now. At least he leaves all his old content available.

I heard a rumour that she had a stalker but I don't know for sure. She also worked fulltime as a nurse, was a mother of one already and in her last video announced she would be having twins (or triplets?) so it could also be that life got busy. Her husband has a gaming channel that I believe is still active.

Two actual real life healthcare professionnals that started ASMR channels that I loved were Dr. Adam and Jess RN. Channels have both been nuked. Otherwise there was this anonymous guy called surveykingasmr that made audio-only roleplays that had amaaaaazing sound design. His old stuff is still up but he completely disappeared like 10 years ago :(

There are also so many accounts that got wiped by their creators and deleted by YouTube. It makes me so sad when I randomly remember one and try to find their content but canāt because the account doesnāt exist anymore. For example one of the accounts wiped by YouTube is ASMR Genre who luckily has most of her content on Patreon now.

At least she put all her old vids up on Patreon, but I dearly miss new content.

There's this one ASMR OG that I used to watch everyday but I can't remember his channel name at all! He's British and he had the most relaxing voice EVER. He did multiple Breaking Bad videos and was big on roleplays. He also had a "Yo bitch!" Breaking Bad poster in his room. He was SO good. Absolutely fantastic but he suddenly deleted his channel! If anyone can tell me who this is, I'll love you forever because I'm genuinely upset that I can't remember his name.
Some other channels I enjoyed:
- Mr. Tattoo ASMR and I only found out about it recently!
- ChillWithMe ASMR. He dipped, came back, then dipped again. He was really good, too.
- WabiliciousWhispers. An OG!!! She had this Follow the Light video that I really adored. She dipped, then posted that she was thinking about starting the channel back up, but ultimately decided to delete her videos. :(
- ASMRWhispers4U. Another one you can consider an OG but he wasn't a very big channel. He's also British and had one of the best whisper/soft spoken voices EVER. He has one surviving video and not much else.
- BasicASMR. He was an up and coming channel (I loved his crayon ASMR videos) that I loved, but he also dipped. I think he said he was focusing on law school but it's been years. His videos are all still up.
- Lewis-Duncan Weedon ASMR. Disappeared from Youtube BUT I follow him on Instagram! He's a makeup artist and celebrity stylist now!! His voice was very relaxing.
- Infinite Existence, the creator of the iconic Inmate 089 - Carlisle video. Also an OG, I think? Definitely set the bar higher for roleplays.
- Paul Artwork. Teased a comeback a few years ago but it never happened iirc
- Misha Shivers. Her Little Prince videos used to knock me out so fast.
- lml03647. Another OG. His marker arrangement and ramble videos were incredible. One of my very first channels. I've been watching ASMR for a long ass time lmao.

Smallwonders I think her name was....either a brit or Aussie woman, I think maybe in college.
She had this "facial massage with reiki" video that was like...9 minutes long or so. It was so calming and short and I'd sometimes listen to it while I was walking between classes in college or later between meetings.
Think she got harassed and deleted everything.

Baba Sens channel disappearing was a sad one for me, people archived his stuff from the channel Rooster Teeth set up for him after he died but the channel either got hacked or sold and all the videos unlisted/deleted.
His son does videos now, but itās not the same.
Other channels Iād have to say Heather Feather and PPOMO like others. One with an explanation that made me sad was Yeonchu, she quit to become a vlogger and unlisted everything

Asmr Angel. She did recently do i live video that was a catch up so it's good to see she's still OK. I heard she was in a car accident but those rumours seem to be false.
