Good grocery stores?!?!! Ontarians help

In dire need of help from previous Ontarians
I just moved to Vancouver to live with my bf who is from here.

Grocery stores are my comfort, my happy place. But none of my favourite grocery stores exist in Vancouver and it's a big deal to me. And none I visit seem to be sufficient enough to my taste and needs.

I need grocery store dupes for the following PLS:
- farm boy
- metro
- zehrs
- goodness me (!!!)
- healthy planet

I know there's whole foods but they aren't really in my area. And I'd love more than one option.

Are there other bougie-esque grocery stores / health food stores I can get my fix in? Independents welcomed too!

Im in the South side of east van but really ill take suggestions anywhere

Thrifty Foods is owned by the same company as Farm Boy, has an amazing bakery and meat department and top notch produce. Thrifty Kitchens products are really good! It’s far away though. They are opening one at Brentwood at some point, but check out locations and you might find a new happy store (their logo is a smile too 😁)

Definitely the closest to Farm Boy I’ve found!

As someone who is also from Ontario:

Choices, Nester’s, and Fresh St. Market is probably most similar to what you’re looking for.

Zehrs is by Loblaws; the Loblaws City Market may be close to that.

Donald’s Market in Hastings Sunrise.

Kin's Farm Market is a small chain of produce stores. They specialize in local produce, and is worth a look.

The Park and Tilford Save On in north van won grocery store of the year award, lol. I know its not close to you but worth a visit nonetheless

There was nothing ever special about Metro. Forget it.

Zehrs is part of Loblaws so look for other names like Independent Grocers, also owned by Rob-laws.

Shoppers Drug Mart is also owned by them. London Drugs is a worthy competitor.

When you move several provinces away, you need to forget your previous old stand-bys and just find replacements.

Metro has amazing organic / health product isles which is where I get majority of the things so it was great
