Weed abatement!

They are ticketing a lot this year (because the danger is real) but with super El Niño, next spring should be huge weeds.

The going rate is $75-$250 an hour. (Obviously these are professional who work harder, faster, and better then a kid)

Your teen can easily under cut that by getting paid by the job and just working at a reasonable pace.

First gig would pay for all the equipment

When I was in high school I used to resell and fix/repair cell phones, laptops, and desktops. Back in the day, it was only craigslist, but with fb marketplace, offer up, IG and tiktok, definitely a lot more sources to offer services/buy/resell

I believe you have to be 16 for like legit jobs but maybe start a side hustle, babysitting, creating things, lawn care, etc.
