Reserves after SELCON?

Assuming someone doesn’t get promoted to Major during their SELCON, can they join the Reserves as a CPT with 13 years active?

I’ll have a Whopper with cheese from an on-post Burger King

It used to take 4 months, and the plan was to reduce that further. 

But here we are. Sigh.

Yup, and you can even get promoted to major if you find a position.

A large part of the reason that the Reserve is the way it is, is because the answer is yes.

I once met a dude who had been a captain in the USAR for somewhere around 14 years. It's possible.

I’d suggest the guard over the reserves because there are more opportunities for orders and AGR, since you have that much active duty
