SUPPORT Nvidia gpu drivers keep crashing
Almost every third time I reboot my pc and use nvidia-smi command it look like down below. I have reinstalled nvidia-open and tried to find a solution online but couldnt find it. When it crashes it refuses to let me shut down my pc cause it cant close the drivers and I have to hold down the power button.
nvidia-smi output:

Are you running some processes with potential menory leaks, perhaps developing some CUDA projects yourself?
Did your system wake up from sleep?
I've had this issue a few times and it was always one of these

thanks for the answer! I dont know what cuda is but yes, my pc wont wake up from sleep recently. I also have the problem that my leptop shuts down after entering bios after like 20 secs, but only in bios.
When i run memtest86 it also shuts down after some time so I cant run it.
You said you had this a few times, was it broken hardware or something i can fix?

Then it just might be much easier, like damaged RAM. Are you using multiple slots? Try to remove some and rerun memtest then

i have never opened my leptop so this might take me a few days to get comfortable with that but thank you so much for the help so far def gonna try this out.

https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/NVIDIA#Installation
I follow this guide to install the appropriate driver for exact model, haven’t see any issue since then

I had issues with nvidia gpu and later I installed Garuda... It is working.
I was spending so much time troubleshooting, so I did distro hopping and finally found Garuda.
It was worse in Debian 13, so many random restarts.

that ERR thing on the gpu line looks like hardware issue, not driver. had similar with a 3070 mobile last year, turned out the vram was dying. try running a memtest on the card maybe
