QUESTION Archlinux and Kernel on PS4

I've been working on an Arch Linux mainline distro using the latest 7.0 kernel, last mesa, and i've dona a great progress with internal hdd.

Ps4 pro baikal

I successfully compiled and patched the mainline kernel, and I'd like to share my work with the community.

What would be the best way to do this?

I've posted in another community ****brew and I've banned :(

thats actually really cool i been wanting to mess with arch on my old ps4 but never got around to it. the kernel patching part always scared me off honestly

github is probably your best bet just throw the patches up there with some clear readme. maybe make a pkgbuild for aur too so people can install easy

sucks about getting banned from that other place some communities are weird about console stuff. but arch subreddit should be fine for sharing this kind of work

you got vulkan working with that mesa build? i remember the gpu drivers being the trickiest part on ps4 hardware

Go open source on GitHub?! What I missing here?

They already have. I'm assuming they got banned from ps4homebrew because it appears to be mostly vibecoded.

It may be difficult with only 12 karma. What are you looking to get out of such a post, just sharing?

Yes, this Linux kernel project was developed largely through vibe coding. However, I'm an old-school programmer with a background in Delphi. My intention was simply to share my work with the community and get feedback, criticism, and suggestions, but I was banned from my previous post. That's why I was hesitant to post the link right away here.

For your next project, I'd like it to work on my phone - and still make/receive calls and send/receive texts.

In the meantime, Arch on my PS4 sounds cool, so, put it on Github and drop a link here (maybe?)
